My Dear Sir:
Referring to our conversation in regard to the motor, please direct the works to express the same to the American & British Mfg. Co., Providence, R. I. We fear that if the machine is sent by freight, there might be a delay of a week to ten days.
Thanking you in advance, I remain,
Very truly yours,

My Dear Sir:
I am directing the works to forward the motor to East Pittsburgh, as suggested, and will be much obliged to you if you will write them and say that we are put to a great disadvantage and must have the machine returned, in good working order, as soon as possible.
I hope that at this writing, the other motor has already been shipped. It is needed more badly than the first one.
Very truly yours,
William Nesbit, Esq.,
