Each one of us has a circle of friends. Whether they can all be trusted is really not an issue, because what we need are folks to expand the circle of knowledge. If I can build one small working device, I can build ten or twenty. There are probably at least that many people I could share it with before somebody decided to stab me in the back and try to go around me and patent it. But if in that time, each of them had shared the secret with 10 of their friends, the circles upon circles would continue to grow and expand. Once you have that many working devices out in circulation, it would become difficult to stop. THEN you post it everywhere with the plans and schematics. Yes, the plans might be wiped off the web, but the secret would be out, and the fact that they were taken down would just add fuel to the fire.
Is a world worth one life? I have to believe it is.
