    Faraday motor.

    Dangling a copper wire over a horizontal ring magnet "Plasma Vortex" from a string should cause it to twirl. Anyone care to volunteer to try this test?

      can I float the magnet on a pool of mercury as the plasma ?
      because I could set that up, run the test, and get it on youtube by the end of the day

        Mercury motor.

        @spacecase0,

        Look how the direction of the "Mercury" flow's effected by the current polarity:

        A "Mercury Motor" might work very well if a ring was filled with a pool and swirled in the ring magnet hole, by grounding the magnet and centering an anode electrode. The same way the "plasma vortex" would behave!

        This "Vortex Mercury Motor" test would be on the cutting edge, and act as substantial proof of concept authentication for science.
