  • For those of you who are familiar with my design that uses the
"C" Core having a "N" & "S" pole in a single coil should be able to see
why I like these cheap cores for mere basic testing. This may or may not
turn out to be the ultimate material but using a tile saw I can cut one
in half and get this show on the road. $15 for this one. 4" OD

Yesterday I picked up 4 gallons of epoxy resin and with an electromagnet
jig/mold I could hit the iron dust as it dries? Problem is not the same
each time. i'll use my epoxy other ways. I am saving my HT epoxy for
other things, this is general purpose.

    • INPUT OUTPUT DETAILS SURROUNDING CORE MATERIALS

I failed to mention a few other important factors surrounding this study
on core material. Let's remember what was said. Iron core material
is slower and less reactive at the WRONG frequency and that is what it is.
You are running a motor at 2000 RPM's that has coils passing magnets
each revolution. Now i am not exactly sure on the millisecond intervals
at which your machine runs so let's take mine as an example.

Mine has 20 magnets on the rotor and if I insert 1 "C" core inductor
into the field I will see a field reversal of 40 cycles per revolution or
      if I am running at 1000 RPM's that translates to 1000 X 40 = 40,000
      impulses in one minute.

If I install a moderate number of "C" core inductors into my rotors field
populating the area comfortably without any mechanical hardships, I
come up with 3 "C" core on each side of the rotor using symmetry to
promote longevity thereby cutting down on physical stress. Also to
      place cores to reduce cogging.

In this arrangement my 20 magnets and iron poles could be experiencing
      18 iron poles X 20 Magnets or 18 X 20 impulses per revolution. This
      translates to:

      18 poles X 20 Mag X 1000RPM's = 360 X 1000 = 360,000 impulses in
1 minute where as a standard 60hz transformer core only experiences
60 cycles X 3600 seconds per minute so 60 per sec X 3600 sec per minute
      translates to 60 X 3600 = 216,000 cycles per minute.

If the collective flux intersects with each inductor I could be in trouble.

This means that if I run my generator at 1200 RPM's I have exceeded
the iron core materials ability twice. This why running at RMP's of 600
and under give higher COP's because as you climb the iron can not
      respond.

I am not completely sure about my reasoning. Then somewhere we must
dig out our on and off timing and what we are expecting in terms of
      response.

Now whether this is highly accurate thinking or just guess work blabbering
one thing should be clear by now is that this is not a device operating
in a 60hz range like the transformer core material is designed for.

Or what is the targeted "ON" and "OFF" timing like on these machines
that are planned into the mechanics of the build? What timing is best?

Can timing be controlled with a magnet passing a coil?

But that is not why I came back to talk you, I just got thinking and
went off the deep end again. What I came back to say is that by
following John Bedini's work using statically run oscillators you find out
that each core material can be implemented for a specific task such
as quick and dirty raw amps without any consideration for efficiency
or going the other way and getting top end stats.

You can not stop there. Once you discover response timing collection
increases watching them double YOU WILL NEED FAST ENOUGH DIODES
to double THAT yet again. Am I reaching anyone?

I can't be the only one.

      Clear thinking? Or fantasiful gibberish?

      • To show you a clear example of the waveform that a standard
transformer core material is made for:

Next in a permanent magnet motor generator looks like this which more
closely resembles an impulse wave. Remember Utility transformer designs
are done after all of the power conditioning with caps and more to
get something far different than what we see and are dealing with.
This wave is not, I repeat NOT SINUSOIDAL it is an IMPULSE WAVE.

Just like inverter switching supplies. Iron laminates are not used.

Here it is, right out of a patent if anyone is interested

        • Ironless motors and generators

          Ironless Motors

In contrast to iron core motors, these motors feature an ironless coil
unit, so there is no attraction force or cogging between the coil unit
and the magnet track. This is what gives ironless motors their light
weight, superior precision, a linear force constant and extremely
dynamic velocity, acceleration and deceleration. Continuous force
ranges from 10N all the way up to 846N with peak force of up
          to 4200N.

              • More on flux getting into the air gap. Think of it like smoke filling the
room till the amount of air continues to be reduced until your breathing
is completely choked off. Or like RF getting into everything. In these

a PMG. Nothing hidden if you know where to look.

                    • Here is a close up of the latest NO COGGING permanent magnet
generators built by men working daily in the field of energy harvesting.

None of their efforts center around high efficiency over 80%

The picture is something else and shows multi-stranded coil packs being
installed by hand. The no cog generators have taken over to save on
weight first at the stator and then the tower does not need to be
so heavily built due to more than one reason. Without cogging no vibration
well not nearly as much. However more copper is required and this
adds back some weight. The big concern with wind turbines is they
need to be ultra-light and cogging represents a huge number of stress
                      issues.

40% less power is produced for the same area as iron cores produce
with cogging. That is what the documents say.

Look close at the video and you will see thick winding and short coils
that cause tonnes of drag. They still take a hell of a lot of HP to turn
                      these machines.

Nothing is free. Cog or no cog these generators are all rated
at the same 80% efficiency range straight from the horses mouth.

Ferrites of IRON OXIDE or Blacksand

The first step up away from straight iron dust cores epoxied into any shape
is the MnZn Ferrite core material discovered in the 1940's.

This is the first set up away from 60hz iron cores that can handle up to
2mhz used in electronics for 70 years.

In this document the Ferrite, the manganese and zinc are joined evenly
like this at boiling temperature. Once the Black sand and 2 other
compounds are put together just at epoxy. One document I read used
54% Ferrite, 15% Mn and 9% Zn. The amounts determine the frequency.

Hydrogen Peroxide, Sodium hydroxide etch the exterior and more, electrically
combining the materials as well as forming one compound instead of three.

Here is your road map to nano-particles of Mn Zn Fe2O4 or better known
                        as mid range frequency Ferrite

Now if you want to go up to the 100mhz range you need to throw a pinch
of nickel in there too. A small price to pay for a 20 year old student to
                        learn to mix.

Hi all, i finished building and mounting the motor and neo magnet rotor.
It has four 1" diameter by 1/8" thick neo magnets.
High density fiberboard for rotor disc and many wraps of fiber tape for safety.
Brushless motor from electric rc airplanes, i can use the 12 volt computer power supply for steady input.
And with the speed control, i can raise the rpm if needed, to reach any lenz delay zones for any given coil tested.
Here is video of it running, next step is making and mounting some coils to test.
