For those of you who are familiar with my design that uses the
"C" Core having a "N" & "S" pole in a single coil should be able to see
why I like these cheap cores for mere basic testing. This may or may not
turn out to be the ultimate material but using a tile saw I can cut one
in half and get this show on the road. $15 for this one. 4" OD
Yesterday I picked up 4 gallons of epoxy resin and with an electromagnet
jig/mold I could hit the iron dust as it dries? Problem is not the same
each time. i'll use my epoxy other ways. I am saving my HT epoxy for
other things, this is general purpose.
