Hi SidL, why do you want to delete the thread?

Hello Aaron,

The reason is simple. It is not a thread that I plan to support any longer with my time and energy. It left a very bad taste in my mouth. Case in point is the post by bistander which was posted after yours. Apparently, you can incur the wrath of others for saying something which differs from what they've been taught.

That sort of attitude as put forth by such people almost as if they are paid to tear down another's attempt at contribution for the greater good, leaves me terribly disconcerted. The worst part of it is that they actually have absolutely nothing to contribute, nothing.

Might I suggest you track down such individuals on your forum and expel them.

I'd be terribly appreciative if you remove this thread, otherwise, it is okay as well.

I started out nice and polite with you taking time and carefully explaining why your scheme of wheel driven generator on a battery electric vehicle will not increase range. Nothing but facts and truth. And you have no idea of what I have contributed to the field of energy research and conservation over my career. I'm here to share that knowledge and experience with guys like you and the other members. When I see you ignore the facts and truth and simply change the cover of your book to hide the lies inside and then continue to sell it, I get upset and call you a con-man. Pardon me.

I am a member of several forums. All the others make it clear that a member can start a thread but does not own the thread. It belongs to the forum. Forum administration has rights to lock a thread which I've seen happen a number of times. I guess they could delete a thread. I hope that doesn't happen here as I feel it would be unfair to the other members who have posted on it. Even though you don't appreciate my lessons and examle regarding the generator on the EV, it may be of interest to other readers. I'm sorry you deleted your posts.

After seeing that diagram and the discussion we had on page one of this thread, what could possibly motivate me to read your book, even for free?

If you were sincerely interested in the subject you might stick around and try to learn.
