I'm calling this thread Induction Transformer.

I came across this Russian video about an interesting device (see image below) that when used decreases amp draw of the whole circuit and makes the lamps in the circuit really bright.



The above device looks like it would be really easy to build. It looks like the Russians are calling it an induction transformer.
