Google Earth and Artifacts Or "other" in Antarctica.. should be in the News ??

It would seem there is something quite odd going on at Antarctica
either google is playing a game

Antarctica: I don't know much other than what I see and read on the net. The stories have been frequent enough lately that I would agree that something must be going on.

There was a Doctor that lived and practiced in the area that I grew up in that served in the Navy as Byrd's personal Doctor on a mission(s) to Antarctica. Here is a link to the eulogy that makes mention of the mission: Dr. Joseph Anderton Fleetwood Jr. | Obituaries | rrdailyherald.com

Supposedly the missions to Antarctica are still classified of that era.

I have talked to other Navy veterans that served near the end of WWII and after that seemed to be holding on to some secrets....

Yes there have been many mentions over the years

I find this observation uncanny
And to be clear these images are unaltered from Google Earths format

are they playing games?
did some one at Google Hack this ?[apparently going back to 2006

when I first started to play with google earth (when it came out) I was amazed with the things it tried to hide (where I worked was blacked out).
at the time I could not zoom in very close in the arctic areas at all.
just thought it was odd until many years later when I started to see all the news about Antarctica
