  • Lexan and KOH

Is lexan compatible with KOH solutions? I see its use in etching lexan, but nothing about it holding up to KOH. I was going to use it for cell plate spacers and wanted to check beforehand.

I don't know about lexan, but check this compatibility site that kumaran posted in another thread:
    Materials Compatability
I would suggest plexiglass or acrylic.
It's better to wear off by working than to rust by doing nothing.

          Titanium Plates

I used the compatibility link and have not found what I was hoping for. I have access to titanium plates, but they are not compatible with KOH or NAOH. Has anyone used titanium in their electrolyzer? What electrolites are compatible with titanium, if any?

          Thanks,
