  • I Hope This Is A Joke!!!

I really hope this is a joke from one of the members!

5 Minutes after I posted my statement in the "Anthony Brown" Topic, I Get this email Topic:"Save 75% on Fuel Prices" with this link
    Half Water Half Gas
So for a laugh I looked at it.....About halfway down the page, which is as far as I Got WITHOUT Puking, the statement is made that he got a 285% increase in Mileage! This is an incredible statement to make based off of my simple and yet effective Math Skills!

Like I said I HOPE this was a joke from someone I know and not the other people making a statement!

Just let me let everyone here know JUST IN CASE:
    1. I Don't Do Drugs (So I can't overdose)
    2. I Don't Drink (So I wont be Drinking and Driving)
    3. I'm NOT Suicidal
    4. I Will Not and Never Will Run From The Police
    5. I Don't Brake into Houses Or Any Other Buildings
    6. My Wife and I Love Each Other Very Much And Are BEST Friends! (So We Won't Be Doing A Murder Suicide)

And Any Other OFF The Wall Ways To Die!

So If You Here of Me Keeling Over In One of or any other variant of the above listed possibilities, Become PARANOID!

Sounds like he's already on medication. Maybe home made> LOL. I tried one of those glass jar deals a couple years ago. They help, but they don't do what he's bragging about. They did pick up a few miles per gallon on my wife's Lincoln. Biggest thing is THEY WILL NOT USE TAP WATER. the coils burn out in tap water. and they sludge up horribly. They have to be cleaned and refilled about after ten days or so of use. still helps though, but NOT worth the investment and time spent.. http://www.energeticforum.com/images/smilies/cheers.gif

            Joke ?

I do not know about this thing you are talking about. But here is one of my previous posts. I should have got around to trying it in a gas engine myself by
            now.

            What Ever Happened to...
In the early 1990's there was a report on CNN about someone in Reno Nevada
who came up with a way to run a vehicle on half gas and half water by mixing
in laundry detergent. I know this will work. When I was growing up, my parents owned a trailer park and oilfield workers lived there, there was more than one fire that was a result of using the above mixture to wash oily clothes. The inventors in Reno used an old porche and had modified the carburetor somehow. A later update on the newscast said that the inventors had sold the idea to an oil company, who were going to start using the process. So what happened? Over the last almost twenty years half the gasoline consumed could have been saved. The oil company must have just buried it. Their usual supression strategy.

Hi FRC, if what you say above turns out to be true and proovable, the board members of the company should be jailed for crime's angainst humanity.

The time's of companies buying and shelving cleaner energy patents should be over.

I thought it was law that patents were to made availiable to the public for replicators and such to attempt to refine the process or device.

I'm serious these so called people that do this type of thing and the people who facilitate it should be prosecuted and jailed.

If there is no law to allow thier prosecution, a retroactive law should be enacted.

It's time we say we have had enough. If there is benign technologies that can save energy or help produce clean energy the tech should be availiable to everybody to make one, or use the method.

The patent office is run and paid for by taxes. As is the government. The power is with the people it always has been and always will be. But only if the people are prepared to wield it. To do that we must co-operate.

              Cheers

P.S. The clean energy movement needs a "legal arm", with bulging muscles and hard knuckles. Is there a lawer among us who could find out how the law is worded or meant to be applied in these situations.

                Patents

Found this info about patent law not sure how good it is, makes sense to me.

                PATENT LAW OUTLINE

                VII. SPECIFICATION – OBJECTIVE DISCLOSURE § 112

Applicant must disclose (In order to allow others to practice invention):

                1) How to Make (Enablement)

                2) How to Use the Claimed Invention

                3) Written Description of the invention

                4) Best Mode

                1) Enablement Requirement: patent itself must enable others skilled in the art to practice the

disclosed technology. Rationales for the Enablement requirement:

                a. to make, construct or use the same so that the public may have the full benefit thereof.

                > must teach the public how to do it in order to receive the patent award quid pro quo.

                b. ensures scope of a patent claim accords w/ the extent of the inventor’s technical

contribution. If granted Broad Claims and don’t deserve b/c of lack of enabling then No incentive for others to do research and improve.

                * Enablement Disclosure: Cannot be Indefinite. It must be specific enough to enable a

skilled practitioner to accomplish the invention in its best mode or to make an operable

                device. Question of LAW.

                > A vague specification, one that requires the skilled practitioner to do the invention by trial

& error, is not an enabling disclosure and thus is invalid.

                > An application must contain clear, sufficient information on how to use the invention.

                - specification must give a description that is “clear, concise and exact”

                - broad, unclear or not exact specification would include too much

                > Patents are NOT production documents, not required to give specs/plans to enable mass

production: just enough for one skilled in the art to be able to make

                c. Critical Date for Enabling Disclosure = Filing Date – must have the enablement requirement met before filing ~ if no enabling then no filing date, or loose filing date.

                d. Not a function of the claims to specifically Exclude all possible inoperative substances/ combos… But, if # of inoperative combos become significant (leading to excess experimentation) then the claims might be invalid.

                > Some experimentation is OK to adapt to a to a specific and narrow application.

                3) Written Description: A patent requires both a written description of the invention and a written

description of how to make and use the invention.

                > Drawings can be sufficient to provide the “written description” of the invention.

                2) How to Use the Claimed Invention: helps ensure a disclosure will truly be enabling.

                > Typically fulfilled by specifying times, dosages or other details wrt a product

                > Fairly Subject test, requiring the applicant to reveal what he knows about the invention

                > But if know how to make something, invention may come later (O-ring) for processes.
Of course there are ways to get around this, if the inventor sells out to the company before lodging the patent or during the processing of the patent, things could be different. I guess if you get an offer of a million dollars or a 5 cent bullet the choice is simple. The trick is to make everything public, then it can't be patented. So no use buying the invention or spending a bullet. No big dough for the inventor though.

                Cheers
