I'm concentrating on HHO, but know if I delved into SSGs or peters NBEMF motors I'd have a lot of questions.
I like the idea, but the request I would add to that is that no one could post new additions to that page, so the message does not get hidden by many questions and answers to that page.

I have seen this done at this page...

SparkFun Electronics :: View Forum - PIC Programmers - Software and Hardware

They put the main ideas they want to convey about the group at the top of the page....

I myself like FAQ pages, it does stop the broken record of how do wind my first SSG coil, how do I setup my first hydroxy ?

What I have seen done on another forum is they index the key post on the board that answers the FAQ .... So that a newbie can find the info fast without having to wade thru 2000 posts they can't understand.

As an board administrator myself, I can understand why one would not want to do this, as it is just one more thing to do and one more thing to keep me away from my own experiments.

What I do like about this forum is that people are free to share what they have learned... and they do try to help the new guy on the block get his first gizmo going.

The truck forum I spoke of as a "How-To" section. Members can write/upload pics to a dedicated idea "IE "How To install Electrical Fans", BUT, It must be approved by the head admin or a moderator before its available to all registered members.

        101 threads

Maybe someone could start a thread, subject: HHO Boosters 101

Then then post specific links, references, etc... to get someone new to this from ground floor to whereever as fast as possible?
        Sincerely,

            P.S.

Would also be good to have this 101 thread as a 'Sticky' A group that stays at the top...

              newbie page

              Tarkus
There already is one on this site. Let's get past this and agree to put up a site for newbies to free energy, and newbies to this post. Aaron probably has a site up and running to direct the newbies to the correct site. They just got to use it. you, or I won't stop fools in a hurry.

Very cool guys, I look forward to reading this and learning more about these systems. My friends and I are going to build two different booster designs, both of which are a derivitive of the Archie Blue cell and Smacks booster. We are hoping to do a bit of experimenting and learn in the process. Once we have that done, we plan to focus on the electronics that will support the unit. A lot of the data needed has come from this site, folks like Redmeanie and others have helped out guite a bit. Thanks to everyone for sharing!

                    Thank You

Thanks Aaron for posting the 101 board, and thanks for making it so no one can add post to that section.

Perhaps we can all work together in building a starters guide for hydroxy, and also for the SSG.

The only other thing, I would request is that you make it a sticky, ( thumb tac on the list ) so it always appears at the top near the motor section.

Might be a good idea for a 101 for building a Bob Teal motor, spell out the details of starting one, and how not to have the whip cracked on you by Peter by keeping on topic on his board

                    Great stuff.

                      To Aaron...

I looked at your 101 section... and I was following your line of thought.

                      more ideas...

You could make 1 group at the top and make it sticky that does point to a sub group that contains all the 101 groups.

                      Or....

1 group that indexes all the 101 groups here on this board. It simply would be the index to the 101 groups.

                      Or...

you make 1 101 group that contains the info for all the 101 info for newbies for each subject contained in separate posts... this might be easiest..

                      Just some ideas...
