I know I'm way off topic of earth battery here - bodkins, maybe you can disseminate this info to relevant post or I'll point them here? But with the water sparkplug thread, are the droplets of water suspended in air around spark gap that shows electroradiant event that is hard to capture on film merely acting as capacitor. Then, capturing energy from radiant event to point of dielectric collapse which vaporizes water.. Same effect.

      Hi Guys,

It occurred to me that filling your spark gap tubes with argon might be useful.

It is heaver than air, so it will displace it, and easily had if you have access to a welding shop (just bring some home in a balloon) or you can also buy it in an aerosol can (it's used to save paint in a part empty can)

        spark tube

argon is a good idea. Isn't that what's in tungsten filament lightbulbs? This is a pic of tube I haven't had the chance to experiment with yet. going with the capacitance idea, I picked up some double sided tape. Hope it's got high dielectric value, going to replace copper wire with alternating layers of alfoil. Copper foil might be better, as aluminium is supposed to reflect radiant event, but don't know where copper foil might be found. I picked up a couple of microwaves from local council cleanup. some have 2100v resonance capacitors, I am supposing the diodes on them are probably rated at least same

My meter has been adding a zero for anything over 200v, but it adds a minus 1 to anything over 300 so principle is still sound., need a new meter. Maybe I'll use a voltage divider for now.

the water inploads yes? so the local environment collapses into the spark ad a ground and we have a negative pull for the planet i hope its still ground energy pulling into the event.
can we use tungsten filament lightbulbs as spark gaps?
            cheers for the info Carl

Move over to the imhotep thread Inquorate there loads of ways we can go with this stuff but it all based with the fan and a ignition coil,

Im tyring to get two grounds think i can have fun with them, O the dump site will not let me grab a microwave so i looking in skip around the city

                    Stubblefield Earth Battery

Hi Bodkins, your video on Youtube was awsome. I have been working on a new design for the Nathan Stubblefield earth battery. I have spent many hours learning how NS earth battery works and I see you are on the same quest. I also spent a lot of time reading the two threads over at OverUnity.Com on the NS battery. I managed to read the entire two threads and was impressed with how much replication work has been done on the battery. They have some very good ideas there but are up against a major stumbling block. NS did not tell us in his patent on how to do the (Make and Break) between posts 5 and 6. I feel Nathan was keeping this a secret to protect his patent. I guess I can't blame the man but in him taking that secret to the grave with himself it has left the world at a great disadvantage. So we are left with what he tells us in his patent and some Yankee ingenuity to try and figure out. With the experimenting that has been going on we know the cell can produce upwards of 1.2 to 1.5 volts. It is also enough to deflect a compass needle. I truely believe that Nathan devised a very simple method to cause his earth batteries to switch the current created between post 5 and 6 to cause the primary coil to turn on and off at a rapid rate. I just bet that NS could walk up to his cells and could hear or feel his cells vibrating thus knowing that his cells were working correctly and if not he would repair them. I also believe that what was happening in his cells was that when the cell was turned off in that micro-second that it would cause a large spike in the primary winding that he would capture that event in his secondary coil thus in turn amplifying that electricity to higher and higher voltages. That is how he could run arc lights and also heat his cabin. I feel now that most of the attention now needs to be directed on how to devise a device to make and break the connection and I have had some success in this regard. I figure if the coil will deflect a compass needle it can throw a switch. There are other methods available to enhance the power to the coil via cathotic protection. You can purchase large blocks of zink they use in that industry that will produce 1.5 volts DC that could be used to enhance the power to the cell via post 10 possibly but I have not done any of those experiments yet. There are a lot of other technologies that dove-tail into the earth battery mainly Bedini's work. I have 5 working SSG's that I have learned a lot from while building and running them. I still have a lot more to learn and will do that via experimentation like you.
Let me know what you think on these ideas,
                    Stephen

                      Hi KingMan
Looks like you may understand what NS was doing more that me! Ive been looking at it as a charging the ground to get a negative potential. Dont have the patent with me at the moment but he said something about a relay for the switch.

if we had relay in the ground with the coil this wound affect the switch by pushing the relay open or close when the NS coil is energised

                      three states
                      Charge coil,Short the coil,Rest.
Checkout the Newman motor timing wheel.
Its just a idea maybe crap but its been dugging me somethin about the movement of energy in the coil its self.
anyway, great to have a fellow NS researcher

                        Earth Battery

Bodkins & All, from testing that was done at Overunity.com they found out that when you shorted out post 5 and 6 for a very brief moment the earth battery re-charged itself almost instantly. I think if your (make and break) switch or relay was placed between posts 5 and 6 and you had a way to adjust the speed of that switching action you might be able to maintain the voltage in the cell while pulling off some of the charge. I think it is the matter of the right frequency. I have heard some suggest around 50 to 100 cycles per second.
I did some testing last evening and I have 2 X 1.5 volt AA batteries hooked up to my test coil that is a tri-filer coil. I have about two volts left in my batteries. I ran a test with my secondary winding hooked up to a ignition coil with a CFL hooked up to that. My CFL was at about 1/2 brightness of which kind of surprised me that it would light at all on two AA batteries but it did. Anyway the direction I'm heading with my experimentation is to get my switching device to run on 1/2 to 3/4 volt DC. If I can accomplish this then that would be well within the range of what the NS batt will produce. I have gathered all of the materials that I need to build my cell and will start on it this weekend.
What I find interesting is that Nathan offered the town of Murray where he lived, to build them a power generating station using his technology. This to me implies that he had the same technology providing the power that he needed to run his home and telephones. Had the city officials of Murray allowed him to proceed I believe things would have been much different today but I think it was stopped just like Tesla's attempt to provide free energy to the people of his time was stopped as well. It sounds like some officials were bought off! Now you mentioned that you have charged the ground where your cell is installed, there was some mention of that where I read that NS would apply a small amount of current to get his cells started but after the initial charge to the ground the cells would take off by themselves and continue to build in strenght over time. It is all so fascinating what NS was able to accomplish with his cells and copper and iron rods he put into the ground to pull up electricity. I do believe there is some galvanic action taking place but I also think telluric currents have a strong affect as well.
                        More to come,
                        Stephen

                                make and break

                                Hello,
I heard something about this before, that Stubblefield was using the energy off the primary along with a relay of some sort built right on to it. It would conduct, pushing the contact away, then breaking the circuit, naturally returning once it's broken. Like the Imhotep relay make and break idea. I have been meaning to try this, but I've been just too busy with school, work, and the family. It seemed to me that there would not be enough juice to push a relay, but maybe a few of the earth batteries in series could do it? I need to find some material as well. The source I head this from also mentioned that around 1 or 2 volts was attained, but at a possible 10 amps or something like that could be drawn. Seems a bit much to me, but then again I have not done it myself. What is the max anyone has heard of coming off the primary?
Anyway, after the make and break, in the secondary the high voltage spikes would be collected. This process would actually save the batteries from wearing down and result in better extraction of the surrounding energy.
I wish I could be on this one with you guys, but I'm going to have to sit this one out for now. Good work so far though, this has been some good reading.
Oh yeah, one more question.. The addition of energy to the earth battery by the operator.. I had not heard of this either.. Is this just something you guys decided to try? Or is this actually supposed to be part of the system?
                                Thanks a bunch,

                                Marcel
