  • I got another month or so till I'll have my shop done, then I will break out my assemblies, take some movies and stuff.

I'll see if I can make one before then.

It all just a spacing trick though. You need so many in the field and they will pull the rest through. Its a chain reaction. Same thing on the way out. But now I have the means to prevent any resistance on the way out. IE latest assembly. Also the cogging reset. cogging reset.MPG - YouTube.
The 60 degree rule always applies. Especially in corners. Thats why Johnson cut his magnets. Its the only way to make them fit. Think about it....
Shortly after I started piecing all that together along came Milo... Remember him? Made things you see in a video kinda hard to believe.

    I'll get ya something though.

    • When I put a small group of magnets on my four foot wheel and my track on the floor, it performed exactly as Matt predicted it would. (built according to design he provided in Post #60) I have been saving for enough money to buy magnets (with spacers) to go all the way around my wheel. I have gotten some, but still need more. Once I have them all I will give it a try. This only requires a short length of track because you use a lot of run magnets. I would like to do a 6 foot wheel instead of a four foot wheel, but I'd have to hock my new laptop, and that ain't a gonna happen.

        Hi Matthew Jones,

Many years ago I built your 45 degree magnet track using very large powerful ceramic magnets. You used to have a diagram showing the magnet arrangement with polarities indicated. Can you publish that again?

Recently I found a way to work around that track idea and made a self running motor. Your magnet track I am referring to had you finger push the magnet up to the start gate and the magnet would zip the track but never had the energy to leave or fall off the tracks end.

I would very much like to see what progress you have made.

I'll go through my stuff and see if I still have it all.

Here is the videos in order for now.

Also I do not recall ever not being able to lunge off the track LOL, Nothing I showed anyway.

          • Using the diagram of TOMI from Keelynet energy files.com I built a linear magnet motor. It works great in the linear configuration and will pull into the linear magnets and with great speed and will even exit with a small amount of speed left over. I have not tried to loop it however. I do think it is possible to loop this into a continuous magnetic movement, but I think it would require a large diameter wheel and a small amount of curved track for the stator. I would think it would make a great backyard project. Also I have looped a hydroelectric system that is self powered. I am not going to divulge the details for it until I get a better efficiency out of it. Presently I am working on a gravity self running motor, which also uses a magnetic helper to keep the gravity wheel turning. So many possibilities and so little time! Good Luck. stealth

            • Here is a mag track design, I think it is matt's, but not sure. Also another design. Good Luck. stealth
