Thanks TUXAIR and REDMEANIE, My bosch is 5 wire 17018 it has the extra connector under the cover i haven't been successful finding much about them like if i can add a A/F Gauge and which ones work ?? I may try adjusting the Efie to day to see if i can get a slightly richer gas. I have the opportunity of buying a SMT Perfect Power P6 piggyback Ecu For 01 Subaru Forester for $150. dollars which is excellent price, i don't know of any other unit that will work . Will keep posting. Thanks

      Techguy,
That looks like a NICE Unit! When you get it let us all know how it works....If you need help let me know....Also where are you getting it, because allot of people are in the same boat with the wide band including myself in about a month.

It looks like a simple system and if its "Non Intrusive" could be our answer! For Now That is

Also I looked at the companies product line and they have a unit called "Fuel Tuner" that could work also. It alters the Injector pulses directly to cut or add fuel, but they state it doesn't work in closed loop only open. I wonder if they mean you have to alter the fuel map before the system goes into closed loop or the adjustments are only good durring open loop and then overlooked in Lambda? If thats the case we would be p'ing in the wind.

I will see if i can find out more info i still don't have the full understanding of what i can do with this yet, i am buying it used from another guy . I am getting better gas mileage with just this efie but i have less power and it sputters every so often . I picked up a new 100k pot. to replace the bad 200kone to see if that gives me more ajustment for fuel. I so busy with my Business i have little spare time . Thanks Redmeanie and everyone.

If you decide not to get that let me know. I would like to have one to verify that it would work for everyone.

Nice but it's just a Reader. We need a Manipulator to alter the signal.

WELL it looks like i will have 1 of my best miles/ gallon tanks , i'm not done the tank yet ,so far 423km and i still am 2notchs above a 1/4 tank , i have been trying pretty conservative both highway and city. This is just with my reversed efie, on wideband, I do have a throttle body spacer and CAI on my vehicle to which i believe was contributing to bit of rich mixture ,oh and i have a hi flo cat and wrx muffler on my Subie 01 Forester , i am course lacking in power now but waiting for my HHO kit to boost some juice .For my lean mixture i run couple of oz.s of 2 cycle oil with lucas and acetone and xylene. Today have confirmed increase 31.8 miles/gal. not sure exactly about 2-3 mi./gal more, thats with out the HHO kit still waiting to for it to be shipped ,another 12 days or so.
