Im starting this thread because we are a talented bunch of people! For sure we can help each other out in each others endeavors and all seem to think along the same lines. So maybe you are an Engineer but really need information from a Diesel Mechanic, well here will be a good place to find one.

So please chime in and let us know what you do, what you can do, or what you have an intricate knowledge of.

    I Have
    - Electronics Skills
    - Modern Automotive Tuning knowledge via standalone ECU and Piggy Back Systems
    - Pretty much all aspects of Automotive Electrical wiring

Good work Meanie, this thread could come in handy in the future

    I'll add my 2 cents.

-Avid Bedini tech fan/supporter, happy to offer my suggestions and opinions.
-Graphical artist, competent in Vector based artwork and Photoshop.
-Paintball gun tech and referee, which leads onto minor electrical skills, mainly in oscillating circuits of Bedini origin.
-Past experience in film (father was a film maker, got to go on many a film shoot and help/learn to edit)

Come on guys, tell us what your good at

                im here for help please.
                Solid State battery charging(hopfully)
got a 555 timer setup to pulse across the base and emiter of a 2n3055 with my coil cracking the ZPE to my charge batter. (I have found that putting the bedini superpole setup sideon to the coil center with south poll magnets around the coil gives better charging)

Problem is i what to flip/flop the batterys atfer every FULL cycle.
At the moment i can only do it on the half cycle with a relay.
The 555 gives a very good squarewave CAN ANYONE HELP ME

I guess I'm a jack of all trades for I don't like specializing in one field. I am familiar with most of the subjects/areas mentioned here by others.

My gift is to make connections between all those things you mentioned and find ways to apply them. I have these, let's call them "moments of clarity", not too often but they happen, where I can see how something ties with something else, on a theoretical or a practical basis. Things that are sometimes totally unrelated and which most people would never cosider, I see fitting into a bigger picture.

I also sometimes see solutions for other people and their problems and how best they can be resolved. Sadly, solutions to my own are clouded away from me...sigh.

I love the fact that we are very diverse here and that diversity could be combined into something bigger. We just need to agree on a goal, no matter how bizzare or wacky it is everything is possible.

But before that I'd like to know what do you all invidually hope to get or achieve? In other words, this is a "how altruistic you are" survey...

                          I believe that...

                          - we (as Terrans) should not have to work for living, but spend the lives improving our selves, physically and spiritually and learning about the inner and outer world (though some would argue there's only the inner world and the outher is a construct of our perception within our psyche, or holographics, hehe.)

                          - everyone should have their basic needs met, regardless of who or where they are or come from.

                          - things should not cost money and the world should be based on the premise of abundance not scarcity (see bucky fuller and jacque fresco for some excellent ideas).

                          - women should be put (back) in charge and men alone should not be permitted to have a final say in anything. I am male and so far all I can see is one step forward and two (or more) steps back, thanks to our kind.

                          - ....?
Are the ravings of a lunatic signs of a genius?

Currently I am a "Technology Integration Consultant"

If that title conjures up some interesting images in your mind then it most likely could describe what I do

here is a quote from my first post in the new members forum...
Greetings from one of the several states of the United states.

I am new on This forum, but not new to renewable energy
which is one area of interest.

A little background, started in electronics in the 70's in grade school
taking classes with the local ARRL, (ham radio club) moved on to those mail order electronics courses, moved on to formal electronics higher education
                            in EE.

After that there was a period of broadcast electronics engineering, followed by
a TV station/studio general manager position, this was interesting but was short
lived (few years) because I would not play the "censorship" game with the local unit of government.

Then came computers, networking, internet, etc consulting, during all of the various era's there were always projects and inventions to make home more
                            independent.

so here we are at the current time and an interest in energy projects with the goal of refining the following projects that have been under construction since my school days.

There is a windmill which has a savonious rotor design, ( 1 55gal drum cut in half) a 36 volt 72 pole electric motor connected via chain to the rotor, electrical switching is automatic via a high current diode to the 12v battery bank.

There are south facing solar heat panels which have an upper and lower vent and use convection only for heat flow.

There is a photovoltiac array which help fill in the gaps of no wind connected
                            to the 12v banks.

The main heating is from another homemade project, another oil drum for a firebox, with stainless steel tubing coilled up in the firebox that feeds the hydronic system, the firebox has a re-burn system that superheats air before it is injected into the top of the firebox to ignite the "woodgas" the circulator is able to run from the 12v system or the (ugh) grid if needed.

There is a brute force hydrogen reactor under my hood using a coiled ss screen which improves my gas milage.

The next project is to scale up the seperating reactor for such uses as a oxy-acetelyne torch replacement, an assist (or replacement) of the wood burner.

So that should give a short synopsis of the projects here in the local area.
Wanna know the future? GOD Wins !!

I am a retired custom home builder $5,000,000 to $50,000,000 homes.
My brothers and I built these homes " SPEC " and financed them in house and they were sold before the house was roofed.

After I retired from construction I got into Collecting court ordered judgements. like I borrowed $25,000 from you and never paid you back...You take me to court and the judge awards you $25,000 in damages plus court costs...But once you leave the court room it's up to you to collect your money from the debtor.....This is where I come in and collect what's owed to you and my fee was 50% of what I collected.......SWEET.

I build " custom Harley's " for fun and alot of shop time time fabricating sheet metal, spacers, brackets, forward controls, motor work and a pretty good tuner. I built my first Harley Davidson when I was 15 years old and now at 60 I have personally owned 25 Harley's.....I know............................. so what!

I have made an aluminum polish that makes aluminum look like chrome, easy on easy off and Yes, all the tanker truckers want " MORE ".

Again, I'm a jack of all trades master of none. Enjoy working in my shop and working on new contraption's like these Hydrogen Generator's...Once I find out how to keep the water " Cool " in my cell I will have a Fool Proof Design
                              If this ever happens................!!!

This is a GREAT FORUM with Ton's of knowledge and it's a privilege for me to be a part of this group.
