I asked my father to see if he could find me some stainless at his work.
well success!!!! today he came home with 2m of 316L seemless 12.7mm (1/2") tube, with a 0.9mm wall. (ID 10.9mm)
this is great. with the exception of the other 2m tube he got for me.
9.5mm (3/8")
with these put to gether i have calulated the gap to be 0.7mm. insulating that is going to be a pain in the backside to say the least.
I know he means well, and after seeing a few videos on youtube he's going to help me with getting the parts.
good news is he's going to try and find some 19mm (3/4") tube with a 1.5mm wall, this will give me a true to spec build of stan meyers patent.
