  • Torque/HorsePower

I know that generally torque and horsepower are not good ways to describe a electric motor. But I was hoping to get some insight and suggestions as an efficient motor that produces good mechanical work.

What electric motor should I be looking into to experiment with that can produce bEMF and also about 150kW of mechanical power? Can a bedini/cole window motor be capable of delivering these characteristics? Flynn? Lindemann attraction motor? Perhaps a combination of these?

    Thank you for your help

    Motors availbale commercially

There are motors that have no back EMF and are highly efficient just like the lindeman motor. they are called variable reluctance motors and they even can make them to collect some of the magnetic field collopse to improve efficiency. there is one company making them just about any size you could want.

is it possible to maybe modify one of those to capture the back emf?

Do you know the name of the company?

      Thanks
