  • unexpected results with big hho booster

i finally got round to fitting my big multi tube unit to my car it is mounted in the boot with a fuel line run to the engine. after starting the the car and lettting it warm up i switched the cell on this is where some interesting things happened within around 30 seconds (about how long it takes to purge the fuel line of air) i had large amounts of soot and water vapour coming out the exhaust. the engine continued to run quite happily though so i adjusted my mixtures 1\4 turn and took it for a test drive. MAN!! the engine has absolutely come alive after around 20 minutes i started tuning more fuel out till both my mixture screws were wound hard in and yet it didnt start losing any performance at all. i'm happy as. oh yeah i'm running 3-4lpm at this early stage will be bumping it up. now it runs with not much more than water vapour from the exhaust which is a big improvement. i'll try post a pic of all the muck my engine coughed up should make you laugh.

That sounds really interesting. If you managed to run without ordinary fuel this is amazing

    Hope you reveal more.

What type of cell are you running? Do you have any pictures of it? 3-4lpm is very good.

am running a 2.5 litre engine with twin su carbs and sorry if i gave the wrong impression its not running 100% hho but i have completely maxed out the lean mixture adjustment on the carbs i can go leaner again with a new smaller set of jets. i use 16mm tubes that draw 1 amp each in straight tap water. i then add tubes to get my lpm figure i am after and a small amount of koh when i need the boost. i have a pwm but cooked it shortly into the test so these tests were on brute force electrolysys. amps must be around 40 but the pwm cuts that back to around 18.
