Very pissed to hear what they've been doing Aaron! Stay strong bro! The bastards bombed my country in 1999. but we're still moving! They can't kill the freedom!
BTW you should select, of all the movies made by you guys, those which present the concept in it's best light and put them all together in a ZIP file, send the zip to a web server and maintain the link alive. Simply for security purposes. Also, backup all of your videos, regularly !!! Keep multiple copies. I'll start downloading the videos from YT today and make my own backup.
One fast thought - isn't P2P more suitable for making files/video clips available to majority of people? Like torrent or DC++? It is hard to track these things and even more - stop them.
Perhaps it is time for the rise of Qiman 14 in place of Qiman 13.

I'd be happy to make vids available on torrents. But, I'd rather not have it use my bandwidth.
Is it possible to do it by having these vids uploaded somewhere and have torrents be able to make them avail?
Hey Guys,
It's really easy to add your videos to P2P torrent sites there are 60 or so around the world some in countries that are untouchable by USA laws. The only problem is finding the videos once loaded. There is two ways to find the videos if you don't know where there at is go to each torrent download site or use the "only" torrent search engine "Bit Che" a free software from Convivea. I'm a Global Moderator on there Forum Convivea Forums - Index and do know a little on this subject. It can be done fairly easy with no download size limitations and video quality the best you can come up with. Just pick one torrent download sites thats not being attacked by the MPAA (motion picture association of america) upload, tell everyone which torrent site was used to go to for downloading and your done. The bandwith could be a problem depending on where the original is stored and untill the download is spread around.

After thinking for awhile a P2P torrents it would be a great secondary or addition to something like thedude is doing. Most people always complain on the video quality of the streaming video, but if there was a additional place where it was available to download the original video full screen highest quality maybe HD 1080i wide screen with no pan and scan shots that would be great. No more how did they do that, even if this option was used in a one video of a series "best of" or just to get the hard copy of real deal out there. It would be really hard to stop this type of thing when there are originals everywhere.
Regards
Glen

Reason: after thoughts
Sheesh! I go away to my cottage for a few days, and when I come back home I see all this going on with your YouTube videos. I started to file a protest with them on your behalf, but here's what I ran into:
----------------------------------
Abusive Users: Suspended friend
Some users attempt to "campaign" for friends or users who they feel have been suspended without due process or reason. Though we appreciate your opinions, ultimately it is up to the user themselves to appeal their suspension. Please note that we don't accept third-party appeals on behalf of suspended users. Such reports distract from other, potentially larger issues that we may have to deal with on the site and don't have an affect on the outcome of the user's appeal. Please refrain from sending these and encourage users who you feel may have been wrongfully suspended to appeal directly to us.

In the same train of thought, regarding censorship, I received a private message from someone who said he was unable to open posted links to files located on my Windows Live Sky Drive because they are being blocked from Hunan, Peoples Republic of China. I don't know if it is just my files that they are blocking, or if they block all of Sky Drive content, but imagine that. I can just picture some dork sitting at their computer desk in a government office somewhere in Hunan, and saying, "No, no, NO! We can not allow any of our people to view such depraved content! We must block this at once!"
I know that many of us were fascinated with the Olympic games in Beijing, and watching all of that made me feel that China has come such a long way in recent years. But it appears that, underneath the facade of bright colors and smiling people, the hand of Big Brother is still busily working to maintain tight control over all aspects of life in China, especially when it comes to outside information and influences. Now of course that's China, and it's somewhat expected with their form of government, but what's going on here in the United Sates? Well, Big Brother lives here too, and is actively seeking to control and limit our Internet experience to the point where it becomes much like television - with everything neatly pre-programmed for our safety and enjoyment. Isn't that just wonderful?
Of course any website that offers up videos for instant replay does have a responsibility to field and investigate complaints, and to review the content of videos that have been flagged by users as possibly being inappropriate or infinging on copyright laws. Sure - study the negative comments to see if there appears to be any merit to them, and review the videos in question to determine if the conplainant's claims may be factual. But permanently disabling an account, without any forewarning or explanation, and without providing a means of rebutting negative comments, is not a good way of doing business. YouTube started out with a great idea, but lost its direction somewhere along the way. I'm very disappointed, and will definitely be bending a few ears over this.
Best regards to all,
Rick
