  • Help w/ Battery charging circuit?

    Hello,

    Working on the circuit below.

... this is the same circuit ... <g>

1,2,3 & 4 are switch positions that I will replace with IRF510 FET transistors. They are controlled by 555 square wave generator. 2&3 will be open when 1&4 are closed when the signal is high, then when the signal is low they should be the opposite, i.e., 2&3 will be closed when 1&4 are open.

So, I think a 2N2222A transistor is an inverting switch but I don't know how to set it up. I'm using a 12V gel cell to power the thing, may use 9V dry cell to run the switches seperate from the battery being charged.

The main objective right now is to experiment with different frequencies. The 555 is set up so I can vary the fequencies and the mark space with a couple of pots. Just need to invert the two FETs so they are on when the signal is low.

    Thanks,
    Chikethume
