  • Can somebody claryfied this?

    I was wandering how many microfarad it takes to make 1 amp?
    Or how many farad?
    I want to know this to make calculation for efficiency.
    If somebody can help me with this i would appreciate.

    You can't compare those two.
    Farads say something about the capacity of a capacitor. Together with the volts they amount to a number of joules.
    The ampere is a measure of electrons per second. So you need to be working with Coulombs here.

        Yeah, that's right. With any cap you can get more than 1 amp, but just for short period of time, lets say - from 1 ns up to even few seconds, depending on capacity.

        I suggest to redefine your question!

          Amps is variable and not linear on capacitors

          It's better calculate Joules

          J=W per Seconds.

          J=0.5 x C x VxV

          J=Jouls
          C=Capacitance in Farads, for exmple 1.000.000 uf = 1 Farads
          VxV=Volts, elevated to square.

          All this is tricky because your capacitor in real life is labeled Capacitance and Volts. But look, Volts is a quadratic relation on the equation. Be carefully with this. Normally when I was studying electronics, Volts is important for max volts and max volts depend the capacitor's size, if you circuit is on 9 volts you cap can be 16 volts and the circuit is inferent if the cap is labeled 25 volts.

          But on free energy one capacitor labeled 1Farad x 24 volts is bigger than 1 Farad x 12 volts, and store much more energy (joules):

          J=0.5 x 1F x 12x12 = 72 Joules
          J=0.5 x 1F x 24x24 = 288 Joules (It's bigger, store more energy)

          Ok. We know how many Joules we can store on our capacitor. Then Joules = Watts per seconds. This because your capacitor need a time (seconds) to store the max capacity (Joules).

          If you have watts per second, you can calculate current I, but this current is variable by V, because Voltage is getting down when capacitor is getting discharged (battery keep voltage stable).
          Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking.             I you verry much for this explanation Patman.
            I was trying to find a way to compare because in my experiments i have
            good results with capacitors.
            So now i can evaluate if by using caps i gonna have beter efficiency..

              Me too, my motor charge a capacitor 200volts X 300uf instantaly, it's good, I waiting for my Big 1.5 Farads X 24 Volts.
