Why so uncertain ?

Heya guys !

I was wondering why Obama was being so cagi. Hedging around the idea that he will or will not attend the Copenhagen conference. Arn't these types of things considered and prepaired for months in advance ? Hmm, maybe I answered my own question. THe rooms and cars and things required to keep the president of the U.S , even if not used , are ordered and Kept in reserve for him and his staff, for the whole conference. ( thats my best guess ).
However, why play this political game of will he or won't he? I'm wondering if he is better informed then we suspect, his advisers have been not telling him about the information rampant on the web. Is he considering going to the conference to keep the super lefties off his back ? Is he considering not signing the agreement, because he does not believe he's been told the whole trueth from the IPPC ? Or is he keeping us all waiting, so as he can do as he has planned all along, but does not want a united opposition , to get in his way ?

Just my 2 cents. Sorry if I've strayed the topic too far over to the political side. But this dancing around the issue of attendence or not, signing or not, says to me something troubling is being hidden from us.

How much of the world's snow/ice base resides on Antarctica?

Anyway, it was on TED, so I'll accept that as proof.

The correlation with CO2, I will take as a lie. Until climate gate has be worked out by non-peer reviewed, non-government funded scientists.

The world has, in the billions of years before us, done dozens of warm-cold periods. Greenland used to be green, inhabited by exploring Vikings. It will be green AGAIN. Perhaps to the point of being a nice place to live, during our lives.

So climate change I totally believe, and applaud. Humans should not think they are of too much of an influence on it. Especially not through CO2.
My kindergarten logic does tell me that when you burn something, anything, exothermically, the environment will be heated. This will go for HHO cars just as well as fossil fueled ones. Heating is not the end though, the exhaust fumes have a much longer life than that. The fossils also have to be produced first.

It still interesting to see the Progress of Glacers from the last 150 Years.
Retreat of glaciers since 1850 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
because they still did go back, even without CO2 Emissions, Tax and whatever.
The Datas back to 200 000 years, i dont know, can you be sure of that,
or are they only taken from anywhere.
You see on this Picuture on Wiki a big melt on the Alps,
but after the Theorie from the Ozon hole, most heat is at the Poles,
but it is not only there.
I dont know TED, but i know, that BMW is one from the worse Companys here,
and surly not the first one, when it is about, to make Cars with Zero Emission,
like Watercell combined Cars.
And not sure about, what they bring in into the Atmosphere with the Chemtrails,
and they fly, around the World, mostly US Airplanes, non-regular Flights.
Wonder, if They dont cause a REAL Global Warming, only, to be right.
I can figure more at all, that a Pole shift turn the Bowl, and make New Zealand to the next Greenland.

Thanks for the link to this great time-lapse study of retreating glaciers. There is NO DOUBT that the glaciers photographed in this film are retreating. The problem is, that this is a "cherry picked" sample and does not represent what is happening to "all other glaciers", even in the areas where these films were made.

A simple Google Search on the term "glaciers advancing" yields massive data on which glaciers are actually GROWING at this time. Here's a link that has dozens of other links to this kind of information:

And here is another page, from the same site, listing specific glaciers that are growing, with links to further documentation.

And AGAIN, no one is questioning IF the climate is changing, the question is WHY? When ALL OF THE DATA is considered, CO2 does not appear to be a significant contributor to climate change.
