Those glaciers were not cherry picked for their retreat; they were done so for aesthetic reasons, accessibility, and visual impact. PLEASE show us ONE glacier, possibly outside of the Himalayas which yet needs to be proved lol), that is not retreating. Just ONE out of thousands?

The glaciers are retreating, and thousands of square miles of permafrost tundra are thawing in North America, South America, and Siberia (usually considered part of "Asia"). To deny this is just silly. It is EMPIRICAL evidence that has nothing to do with "spin". THAT IS WHY i so love pointing it out lol.. As those who would deny EVERYTHING regarding climate change try to make us forget these facts.

The world is not "black and white" folks. It comes in 256 shades of gray. Factions on BOTH sides of this debate are deliberately pushing disnfo and politicizing this; trying their damnest to make it just another dividing & polarizing issue.... Because as long as we are divided among ourselves, they have nothing to fear.

This is all a PLANNED way to keep us continually arguing about the science, so NOTHING at all of importance is done (...perhaps with the exception of the use of chemtrails to increase albedo). This way, we can go on using oil and coal for another hundred years, lol.

I'm all for reducing global pollution as fast as humanly possible. And possibly offering tax advantages for voluntarily reducing emissions regardless of how illegal the irs is - we have to work with the criminal system for now.

Even if I believed co2 caused a global warming, there is still no way in the world I would ever support communist control of the united states, which is exactly what would happen if we subordinate the u s sovereignty to un dictators, which is EXACTLY what they are. the un would regulate all our industry, I would have to have approval from an unconstitutional energy czar (they're all illegal and circumvent congress) in order to sell my home???? (may happen without copenhagen), etc... Anyone that does believe in global warming should promote reduction in pollution without selling their souls to the devil in the name of "solving" the problem.

CO2 is a very, very, very small contributor to any of the warming that does happen. There is a warming trend before every cooling trend. And the weakening of earth's magnetic field, which is happening allows more radiation into our atmosphere that helps to cause these heating trends before the poles reverse. Deforestation and soil lacking the minerals causes less luscious plant life to absorb some of the co2 that causes small amount of warming.

Yes, some warming at different periods. The scientific facts do show a correlation of temperature to co2 levels. The key word is correlation and NOT causation. The correlation is that 800-2000 years AFTER there is warming, there is a correlated amount of co2 increase. I would guess there is a little more biomass breaking down when it is warmer and that increases the co2 in the atmosphere...that is from trees, etc... on the forest floor, etc.. breaking down releasing co2....but again, all these increases in co2 happen HUNDREDS of years to 2 THOUSAND years AFTER there was warming. INCREASED CO2 HAS NEVER PRECEDED ANY STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT WARMING PERIOD.

There is also a difference between a claimed man-made warming that is melting some ice and the fact that from one ice age to another, the ice will simply thaw ANYWAY, which is what ice does when it goes from a dominating cold condition to a warmer condition - thawing to a certain point before moving back to an ice age.

Here is a challenge that I'm personally giving to EVERY global warming advocate on the planet...

I can decrease emissions on coal plants by up to 20%, increasing their power output by up to 20% for the same coal burned. It is guaranteed and I can prove it and it doesn't need research and development. I already have it. It requires a very small insignificant modification to where the coal enters the burner. I can do this right here right NOW. The break even point for a ROI for the companies would be THE INSTANT IT IS USED. No expensive retrofit equipment like many companies are wasting their time and money on.

I would bet 99 against 1 that no global warming believer would take me up on my offer and make a meeting happen with a coal plant to test it. I hope I lose this bet. It is ALREADY proven in California and I believe maybe Arizona. Also, it works with larger pieces of coal without having it broken down to smaller pieces further saving time/money/effort. But if anyone is convinced they are a person of action and want to reduce emissions on a large scale, PM me and I'll send you a contract. I'll be waiting

What really bother me is, sure, the Ice maybe goes back, but it does since couple hundred Years, not only the last 5 Years, why dont they consider this.

Another 2 Opinions, when a Motor runs hot, it gives his Heat away to the Enviroment.
Like the Earth will do to the Space.
The average Temperature from the last 1000 Years did increase for about 0,8C.

And, instead of putting Filters for the Chimneys from the Industrie, and anywhere else,
where Emissions appear, they set up a Tax for the Emissions, wich anywhere grabs.
Do anyone think, that is Soo hard to set up, for every Company, to make Filters for her Emissions.
Most Houses here need to do something like this, and there is no Way,
to deny, that this is not possible,
or is it to hard, because the Companys have to much Money to do so?

But they DONT stop to chop the Woods, They DONT seed new Woods, instead chop the very old one,
They DONT do really something for, that Companys clean her Emissions,
even when the Amount from Cars for CO2 is less then 15%,
all they do is pointing with Fingers and say, PAY.

Is there really a Logic behind, how this Bunch of weird 'IT-Language-speaking-Scientists' behave,
and the Intentions to reduce Emssions are converted from the Politicians,

Copenhagen climate summit in disarray after 'Danish text' leak



The UN Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray today after developing countries reacted furiously to leaked documents that show world leaders will next week be asked to sign an agreement that hands more power to rich countries and sidelines the UN's role in all future climate change negotiations.


The document is also being interpreted by developing countries as setting unequal limits on per capita carbon emissions for developed and developing countries in 2050; meaning that people in rich countries would be permitted to emit nearly twice as much under the proposals.


The so-called Danish text, a secret draft agreement worked on by a group of individuals known as "the circle of commitment" – but understood to include the UK, US and Denmark – has only been shown to a handful of countries since it was finalised this week.


The agreement, leaked to the Guardian, is a departure from the Kyoto protocol's principle that rich nations, which have emitted the bulk of the CO2, should take on firm and binding commitments to reduce greenhouse gases, while poorer nations were not compelled to act. The draft hands effective control of climate change finance to the World Bank; would abandon the Kyoto protocol – the only legally binding treaty that the world has on emissions reductions; and would make any money to help poor countries adapt to climate change dependent on them taking a range of actions.


The document was described last night by one senior diplomat as "a very dangerous document for developing countries. It is a fundamental reworking of the UN balance of obligations. It is to be superimposed without discussion on the talks".

Focus on the actual pollution - lol, common sense. I fail to see why
the concept that it is actually PROFITABLE to reduce emissions by various
ways doesn't catch on. Coal plants, etc... can reduce emissions while
increasing their output. The propaganda by the mainstream media and
our corrupt politicians doesn't want this concept to be focused on because
it would bring out technologies that in the long term actually do lead to
energy independence. Industry, etc... has been brainwashed to believe
that any solution will decrease production, increase costs, etc... what
a bunch of misinformation.

Copenhagen meeting

Hi Aaron;

Great job you're doing and have done on this!

I saw a program on pbs last week concerning this meeting. It featured one of the cabinet members from Bangladesh. As one of the developing countries who would receive lot's of money from the "big polluters" (which he defined as China, India, and the U.S.) for polluting his air and causing so much damage to his country, he was practically giddy with anticipation.

As he will now, hopefully, not be receiving said monies it is no wonder he, and others like him, are furious.

As usual, it's all about the money, not the environment. Sad.
