Home made coil winder

Hi

Hopefully OK to post this here. Here's a coil winder I made up from an old hand drill and a few scraps of wood + an ebay counter. Took about 2 hrs to make and it is sure easier than winding a coil without any help. Hopefully the pics will be self evident about construction and operation, and special jaws could easily be made if you just wanted to wind onto a core with no end plates.

But i know, its very handy, to got something faster then your Hands.

Btw, what you think about, to isolate the Rods with Hairspray ie. for the Core.
What i know, it is better against the Flux, but it force it more into one Direction
