    Renewable yes. Free? lol. Leave them at their money and time wasting politic crap. This year will bring forth many machines/motors that will power homes for decades straight.

            No it's not. My father told me how 30 years ago he was working on the iceland geothermal plants. The motto on here is quite simple. Do not trust or rely on energy companies one BIT. Work on a solution like they are going to shut your electricity down tomorrow.

              I see what you are saying... it hardly gives us energy independence since the powers that be will still be in control of the energy.

              But using the renewable resources available within your own country instead of relying on the non-renewable resources from an even bigger "power that be" is a step in the right direction
