  • ELECTRET, CAPACITOR or OTHER

Has anyone here produced any kind of device (circuit or component) that self generates .5-1V? Note: NOT using an earth ground, or trigger power source.

  • #2
    maybe

The nathan stubblefield earth battery does it.

I've seen .8 volts plus some amperage with no ground and no trigger only power source I can think of would be the meter itself.

    Does that count?

      i did today .
I tried this Setup from Antony Meiers, who did someone mentioned.
He wrapped wire around a magnet, in middle halfed and said, he got couple Volts out.
This did not work for me, but as i did connect one Wire to the magnet in the middle, i got inductive 0,5V, but no amps.
And i did take 2 Screws, what i did stick left and right side from some stronger NE Magnets.
--Edit- Since i saw Sigzidfit posting ...
and a Pencil and a sharpender makes 1,5V 0,3 mA. its Graphit and Magnesium.

Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.

        Cap self charge

Bodkins and I have both found that after conditioning a cap with dc square wave pulses for a day or so will change it so it self generates voltage. I used 555 timer, bodkins used bemf ( he would say time )
Nat once measured his ignition coil gaining hundreds of volts. An Electret would work also. See dmonarch's Electrophorous thread

For theory behind how, read dmonarch's radiant matter thread, I think it's page 2

Might I ask what you want it for? I'm intrigued
Atoms move for free. It's all about resonance and phase. Make the circuit open and build a generator.

              This one?

I am searching for repeatable results, regardless of location.

"conditioning a cap with dc square wave pulses"
I have a cap (5v) that I can "condition" and it will self regenerate (5v), but each discharge causes it to bounce back lower and lower until .1v remains.

But it still bounces back 10-20 times before the voltage becomes unusable.

                  Bodkins

I have read parts of that document before... but at the bench I have not been successful. I will give it another look. Electret's have some significant promise....

Have you produce one successfully utilizing these guidelines?

                    DavidE,

                    Yes, without an earth connection.

I've made several of them now and a good example did .8 volts, but even the worst did at least .5

I'm looking at one right now in a plastic container on a plastic table. The only thing connected is the meter. It is reading .512 v.

Not yet still getting stuff together will share results(have a friend how has success with it)

will check my stubblefield when i get in, its not ground because it in a plastice box i had 1.2volt with diodes and a antenna on the negative side, its been on a charging battery side of a imhotep fan for two days now

How about few thousand volt static charging

Radiant Energy Diatribe speaks of Static Electricity and electret effect
On web page under "Conditioning the Cable" it tells how to make an electret out of coax cable.

I'm wanting to make use of a lot of Cat-3 wire I have, few hundred feet.
All this wire needs to be put to work instead of doing nothing at all.
I thought if I stripped off the outer insulation and separate the 8 wires into single wires this would work?

I'm wanting to make the Perreault Conversion Circuit without electret, just using normal wire.

Evidence suggests that, the rate at which certain reactions occur is increased in the presence of high voltage.

                            Water batteries do this easy.

take a zinc slot cover from a computer, then take a copper wire put in a glass of water... .5V
                            See my experiments here...
