Glen - I don't think that the coordinates are correct for the Colorado site. I went there in Google Earth, and then down for a street level panoramic view. I looked all around, and couldn't see the large building that was located close to Tesla's lab, and which is said to still stand today. Go to www.Magnetricity.com ... Tesla and search the web page for the words "Union Printers Home" and that will bring up a photo of the lab with the large building shown nearby.

I found the Union printers Home. It is located at coordinates 38°49'52.48"N, 104°47'30.53" on a large property at the corner of S Union Blvd and E Pikes Peak Avenue. The listed address is 101 S Union Blvd. It is the large L shaped building, and still features the round towers at each end of the long side. Judging from the orientation of the Tesla lab photo, the lab would probably have been located on the other side of S Union Blvd, and closer to E Pikes Peak Ave.

If you checkmark "Street View" (under the Layers heading in Google Earth), you will see several camera icons pop up along S Union Blvd. Drag S Union Blvd to the center of your screen, zoom in to an altitude of 2.06km, and more camera icons will appear. The address will show if you point at a camera icon. Look for the one at 124 S Union Blvd, double-click it, and it will go down to a panoramic street level view. Pan to the right until you see the arched front gate of the Union Printers Home. Looking through the gate, you can see part of the building, and it is probably the left round tower as judged by the camera angle and the driveway layout. This is the only place you can see the building from street level, since all other angles are blocked by trees. The views to the left side of S Union Blvd are less obstructed. I would guess that Tesla's lab was anywhere between S Union Blvd and Farragut Avenue, and likely at the corner of the angled building, with the white roof, which is nearest E Pikes Peak Ave.

From what is known of the actual historical location of the site – for indeed it does not in fact stand today; being torn down shortly after Tesla left to pay off various debts – it is well documented that it stood approximately 1 mile to the east of downtown, on Knob Hill, upon land next to where the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind is situated, and which indeed operates even to this very day. The geodetic co-ordinates of the school itself, which would serve as a good reference for the location of the lab, to within a reasonable degree of error, are as follows:

38 Degrees, 50 Minutes, and 4 Seconds of arc, North
104 Degrees, 38 Minutes, and 30.6 Seconds of arc, West


Thats why I'm fairly sure the school "burnt down" is to the right and the power lines several of them are just a little farther right some more -

Remember it's been almost 100 years I'm surprised you can still barely see the round ring you might be able to use a metal detector and find it.

added - I get around 10 miles from down town the information is the best and possibly questionable, when it was written, cut and pasting going on, mistakes or disinformation. I do find it hard to believe the citizens seeing 100 foot bolts of lightning lighting up the night sky one mile away didn't run him out of town after 8 months of this going on ..... doesn't sound right.

No, I think it would be called being vindicated, as in what Tesla did is being used today and there are government facility's that are arranged to close to be a accident to the original locations Tesla used. Therefore it is a very high probability that wireless transmission of electricity can be done and if under the influence of these "Arc" are the most efficient.

I think when Teslas died and the FBI came in days later to his apartment in New York and took 2 truck loads of things there must have been a reason.

Colorado Springs

In 1899, Tesla decided to move and began research in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he could have room for his high-voltage high-frequency experiments. He chose this location primarily because of the frequent thunderstorms, the high altitude (where the air, being at a lower pressure, had a lower dielectric breakdown strength, making it easier to ionize), and the dryness of the air (minimizing leakage of electric charge through insulators). Also, the property was free and electric power available from the El Paso Power Company. Today, magnetic intensity charts also show that the ground around his lab possesses a denser magnetic field than the surrounding area. Tesla reached Colorado Springs on May 17, 1899. Upon his arrival he told reporters that he was conducting experiments transmitting signals from Pikes Peak to Paris.

Tesla kept a diary of his experiments in the Colorado Springs lab where he spent nearly nine months. It consists of 500 pages of handwritten notes and nearly 200 drawings, recorded chronologically between June 1, 1899 and January 7, 1900, as the work occurred, containing explanations of his experiments. He was developing a system for wireless telegraphy, telephony and the transmission of power, experimented with high-voltage electricity and the possibility of wireless transmitting and distributing large amounts of electrical energy over long distances. He also conceived a system for geophysical exploration--seismology--which he called telegeodynamics, based on his reciprocating mechanical oscillator patented in 1894, and explained that a long sequence of small explosions could be used to find ore and create earthquakes large enough to destroy the Earth. He did not experiment with this as he felt there would not be "a desirable outcome".

Much of what Tesla discovered while in this lab has been lost to history and Tesla's own secrecy. To this very day there is talk of Tesla's Death Ray being invented there as well as communication with other planets. How much of this is true is now unknown, but has made Tesla's time at this remote lab a wellspring for Urban legends about him.

Laboratory construction

Tesla, a local contractor, and several assistants commenced the construction of the laboratory shortly after arriving in Colorado Springs. The lab was established on Knob Hill, east of the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind and one mile (1.6 km) east of downtown. Its primary purposes were experiments with high frequency electricity and other phenomena, and secondary--research into wireless transmission of electrical power.

Tesla's design of the lab was a building fifty feet by sixty feet (15 by 18 m) with eighty-foot (24 m) ceilings. A one-hundred-forty-two foot (43 m) conducting aerial with a thirty-inch (760 mm) copper-foil-covered wooden ball was erected on the roof. The roof was rolled back to prevent fire from sparks and other dangerous effects of the experiments. The laboratory had sensitive instruments and equipment.

The lab possessed the largest Tesla Coil ever built, fifty-two feet (16 m) in diameter, known as the Magnifying Transmitter (further MT). Not identical to a classic Tesla Coil, it was a three-coil magnifying system requiring different forms of analysis than lumped-constant coupled resonant coils presently described to most. It resonated at a natural quarter wavelength frequency and could work in a continuous-wave mode and in a partially damped-wave resonant mode.

According to accounts, Tesla used it to transmit tens of thousands of watts of power wirelessly; it could generate millions of volts of electricity and produce lightning bolts more than one-hundred feet (30 m) long. Tesla posted a large fence around it with a sign "Keep Out - Great Danger".

Tesla became the first man to create electrical effects on the scale of lightning. The MT produced thunder which was heard as far away as Cripple Creek. People near the lab would observe sparks emitting from the ground to their feet and through their shoes. Some have observed electrical sparks from the fire hydrants (Tesla for a time grounded out to the plumbing of the city). The area around the laboratory would glow with a blue corona (similar to St. Elmo's Fire).

One of Tesla's experiments with the MT destroyed Colorado Springs Electric Company's generator by backfeeding the city's power generators, and blacked out the city. The company denied Tesla further access to the backup generator's feed if he did not repair the primary generator at his own expense; it was working again in a few days.

Tesla died of heart failure alone in Room 3327 of the New Yorker Hotel, some time between the evening of January 5 and the morning of January 8, 1943, at the age of 86.[90] Despite selling his AC electricity patents, Tesla was destitute and died with significant debts. Later that year the US Supreme Court upheld Tesla's patent number U.S. Patent 645,576 in effect recognizing him as the inventor of radio.

Immediately after Tesla's death became known, the Federal Bureau of Investigation instructed the government's Alien Property Custodian office to take possession of his papers and property, despite his US citizenship. His safe at the hotel was also opened.

At the time of his death, Tesla had been continuing work on the teleforce weapon, or death ray, that he had unsuccessfully marketed to the US War Department. It appears that his proposed death ray was related to his research into ball lightning and plasma and was imagined as a particle beam weapon.

The US government did not find a prototype of the device in the safe. After the FBI was contacted by the War Department, his papers were declared to be top secret. The so-called "peace ray" constitutes a part of some conspiracy theories as a means of destruction. The personal effects were seized on the advice of presidential advisers, and J. Edgar Hoover declared the case "most secret", because of the nature of Tesla's inventions and patents. One document states that "[he] is reported to have some 80 trunks in different places containing transcripts and plans having to do with his experiments". Charlotte Muzar reported that there were several "missing" papers and property.

I realize there are discrepancies on the actual location of Teslas Laboratory in Colorado Springs and I possibly found the explanation. You are correct about the "school for the blind and deaf" being established in 1874 and still exists today ... but In the 1900's they acquired a 120 acre farm outside of Colorado Springs.

History of CSDB

Colorado was still a territory when "The Colorado Institute for the Education of Mutes" was founded by Jonathan R. Kennedy in 1874. Jonathan Kennedy had previously served as the steward of the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe. With an appropriation of $5000 from the Territorial Legislature, Kennedy opened the school on April 8, 1874. It began with an enrollment of seven students; three of whom were his own and added six more during the course of that year. Its original location was a house in downtown Colorado Springs. The house was rented for $50/month.Jonathan Kennedy and his wife were the maternal grandparents of the famous silent film actor Lon Chaney, Sr. whose parents were both deaf. His son, Lon Chaney, Jr. followed in his footsteps in the early silver screen. The student population rapidly outgrew the space available and with a donation of ten acres by the founder of the city of Colorado Springs, General William Palmer, the school moved to its current campus in 1876.In the beginning, the school stressed vocational training. The school's motto was "Learn to do by doing." Early classes included dressmaking, hammock weaving, needlework, and general housekeeping for the girls, with printing, carpentry, baking, mattress making, broom making, piano tuning, and chair caning for the boys.In the early 1900's the school purchased a 120-acre dairy ranch and maintained a high grade of dairy cattle as well as chickens and pigs until the 1950's. In 1961 the school received its initial accreditation from the Colorado Department of Education.

Yes, that's right. The main building of the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind (CSD&B) is pinpointed by the green marker at left side of the satellite image shown below. The image is correctly oriented to north, so Tesla's lab was to the right (east) of the CSD&B. The photo shown further down in this post is of Tesla's lab, and shows the Union Printers Home (UPH) in the background. I have labeled the UPH, found at right side of the satellite image, and drawn a white line between the two buildings. Notice, in the lower photo of the lab, that the camera view angle is about the same as the view angle along the white line in the satellite image. Tesla's lab was definitely located somewhere between the CSD&B and the UPH buildings, and would also have been close to the white line. Notice how the white line passes through the corner of the angled building with the white roof. That building is oriented at an angle quite similar to Tesla's lab, judging from the photo. Perhaps that's the actual lab location, or it may be somewhere a bit further to the west, and a little closer to the CSD&B, but the general area is now well defined from what the satellite image and the lab photo reveals.


The lab photo below is from a black and white photo that has been enhanced for contrast and light, and colorized, and is the work of Rex Hebert. It is featured in the Tesla Photo Gallery at www.Magnetricity.com ... Homepage
The building in the foreground is Tesla's lab, and the building in the background is labeled as being the Union Printers Home. I believe the labeling is correct, because the photo shows the round towers at the ends of the building, and these can be distinguished when you zoom in on the UPH satellite view. Also, as I pointed out in my previous post, the round tower at the north end of the UPH building is visible when looking through the arch of the front gate at the UPH from a street level camera view. The lab photo clearly does not show the CSD&B building, as neither that building - nor any other building on the CSD&B campus - features any round towers.


So both the CSD&B and the UPH buildings existed at the time Tesla's lab was built, and both still exist today. The coordinates for these two buildings are as follows:

The desolate countryside area that your posted coordinates lead to is about 9.2 miles east of the CSD&B, while the CSD&B and UPH buildings are only 0.8 of a mile apart. Looks like the article where you found those coordinates was either mistaken or had pulled the coordinates from info deliberately meant to be misleading. I wonder if (in summer, of course) there would be any telltale evidence of the lab site remains if one were to walk the area of the white line in the satellite view. Perhaps a small marker, just to signify the historic site? For that matter, I wonder what the object is at the center of the photo below, and at the corner of E Pikes Peak Ave and S Hancock Ave. Looks like perhaps a commemorative fountain, in a public park maybe? A street level view of the object can be seen from 22 S Hancock Ave. Not far from the white line, and closer to the CSD&B than the angled building with the white roof that I mentioned earlier. Hmmm, if it isn't a Tesla commemorative, then it should be.

Understanding electromagnetic field and antenna radiation

Here's something i came across, might be of some interest to u guys, its about EMF and Antenna Radiation, could help design a Tesla Coil and transmit energy


Also here's my resonant oscillator that i made, it's tiny 12V using an ignition coil. Im getting some strange results, HV everywhere, even on the 12V side of the circuit.
It's interesting, i can get a spark to form with one wire, the other end connected to nothing, like an antenna. reminds me of John Bedini saying that the spark that comes off Tesla coils is actually drawing in the radiant energy and not pushing it out. That's what seems to be happening with my circuit. (watch second half)

Has anyone ever put a very high speed camera in front of a Tesla coil to see which way the spark is jumping from??

I suppose it is very likely that the government has gone all around the country, from the earliest discoveries of mysterious sites, and kept these lands separate from the public by turning them into military bases. That gives them reason to have military presence and to keep these areas closely guarded (except from Google Earth). I often wonder about some sights that have been seized by the government, including the "Mel's Hole" site. Mel said that he dropped something like 4 miles of line into the hole and never reached bottom. He also said that a satellite view of the area where the hole was located had a missing section right where the hole was located. I don't remember what those coordinates were, but when I looked at them a few years back it was like Mel said.

I'm sure your correct and spot on about the location of the Laboratory Tesla in Colorado Springs, and maybe what I found was the Blind and Deaf School Farm it's about the right size and some latitude and longitudes someone came up with.

Here is what I've came up with on the "Tropical Year Frequency" Circular Arcs I'm trying to figure out how to show several other drawings. I'm looking "Down" on the North pole with the Earth is running CCW with twenty four (24) CW magnetic flux circular lines penetrating the Earth twenty four (24) places around the "Equator" each "Circular Arc" in sets of three (3) offset 15 degrees.

Now we can see if the shoe fits so we all can wear it ....

Revised and finalized Theory

Here is what I've came up with on the "Tropical Year Frequency" Circular Arcs I'm looking "Down" on the North pole with the Earth is running CCW with three hundred and sixty (360) CW magnetic flux circular lines penetrating the Earth three hundred and sixty times (360) places around the "Equator" each "Circular Arc" in sets of three (3) phases A, B, and C offset one (1) degree in sets of three (3). There are one hundred and twenty (120) sets for each of the three (3) phases A, B, and C. This is a change as you will see to finalize this theory of "Teslas" wireless transmission. ( everything in multiples of three )

The "Tropical Year Frequency" Circular Arcs ..... it is similar with quantity of arks in a multiple of three to cover exactly all existing explained and unexplained areas of interest with large grounding rings or pyramids around the world either ancient or new ran by government agency's.

The proposal is the same only changed by the quantity. There are one hundred and twenty (120) sets of three (3) circular arcs for each phase or 120 degrees, the three circular arcs per set are connected in a "delta" or "star" more commonly known as a "Y" configuration A-B, B-C, and C-A inside the earth. The one hundred and twenty (120) Y connected sets of three (3) circular arcs are totally separate being one degree (1) apart for a total of three hundred and sixty (360) degrees (Tesla Poly). Pyramid did Tesla Know ?

Hi all,
After looking at his it appears Tesla knew about this from the book Aaron referenced to earlier in this thread, the positioning of Tesla's equipment in these arks and looking at this artical from "Wiki" leads one to believe with the "US State Department" involved in the year 1782 a select few knew about this. ( New World Order ? Nah ... )

Annuit cœptis (in Anglicized Latin pronounced /ˈænjuːɪt ˈsɛptɨs/) is one of two mottos (the other being Novus ordo seclorum) on the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States. Taken from the Latin words annuo (nod, approve) and cœpi (begin, undertake), is literally translated as "He approves (or has approved) [our] undertakings".
In 1782, Congress appointed a design artist, William Barton of Philadelphia, to bring a proposal for the national seal.[1] For the reverse, Barton suggested a thirteen layered pyramid underneath the Eye of Providence. The motto which Barton chose to accompany the design was, Deo Favente Perennis, "Enduring by the Favor of God".

Barton explained that the motto alluded to the Eye of Providence: "Deo favente which alludes to the Eye in the Arms, meant for the Eye of Providence."[2] For Barton, Deus (God) and The Eye of Providence were the same entity.
In light of the fact that the theme "13" was included throughout both sides of the seal,[citation needed] a month later, Charles Thomson amended Barton's motto with a phrase containing 13 letters.[citation needed] The motto on the front of the seal (E pluribus unum) already had 13 letters. Thomson suggested a phrase that was synonymous to Deo favente but with thirteen letters: Annuit Coeptis.[citation needed]
When Charles Thomson provided his official explanation of the meaning of this motto, he wrote:
"The Eye over it [the pyramid] and the motto Annuit Cœptis allude to the many signal interpositions of providence in favor of the American cause."[3]
Hence, the motto and the Eye of Providence both alluded to the same reality. The Eye of Providence was commonly understood as a symbol for God and destiny. Hence, Annuit Cœptis is translated by the U.S. State Department, The U.S. Mint,[4] and the U.S. Treasury[5] as "He (God) has favored our undertakings." (brackets in original).[6]
Annuit cœptis and the other motto on the reverse of the Great Seal, Novus ordo seclorum, can both be traced to lines by the Roman poet Virgil. Annuit cœptis comes from the Aeneid, book IX, line 869, which reads, Iuppiter omnipotens, audacibus adnue cœptis. It is a prayer by Ascanius, the son of the hero of the story, Aeneas, which translates to, "Jupiter Almighty, favour [my] daring undertakings." According to the ancient state religion of Rome, properly called the Cultus deorum romanum, Jupiter was head of the pantheon of gods.
