  • Insted of having electronics shorting the coil on and off ,why dont you just
place a magnetic sheild piece on the magnet????
This way you gonna have double impulse by magnet..
Insted of having a big roller coaster=curent, you gonna have 2 sinuidal wave=
    voltage..
    If i`m wrong correct me!

if you have ever taken a harddrive to bits theres a magnetic shield in them.

Just put a strip of magnetic shield to have youre waveform divide in 2..
If i was equiped with the right tools i would tried this..
It seems pretty obvious when i start to read this tread that it has to be
a way to cut the waveform to obtain the abrut scalar form...
You light our minds my friend...

                  Hi Alain,

It would useful you could draw a hand sketch in Windows Paint how you think the shield is placed on the magnet. Can it be fixed to the magnet for good or you have to move it wrt the magnet? If you need to move it than how much mechanical energy is needed, compared to a MOSFET switch that needs very little input energy.

Here is a link to a similar page Bodkins kindly showed above.
Hard Disk Drive Magnets For Wind Turbines - Wind

It indicates the hard disk magnets polarities as glued to the so called "shield" i.e. a backing plate. This plate is thick enough with respect to the strength of the magnet and has a high permeability to close the flat Neo magnets' opposing poles on one side so that on the outer side of the plate there is no or very very little stray flux. You can find similar behavior with any soft iron or other ferromagnetic plate of correct thickness.

Alain, I would appreciate further explanation or even better a rough drawing how you think the setup with the cover plate.

                  thanks, Gyula

                        Yes, I agree.

(To put it more "precisely": permanent magnet or electromagnet attracts any ferromagnetic material.)

So why do you mention this?

                        • Why don`t use a controlled rectifier? Is really easy.

                            • I`m working in another circuit, actually, it will utilize the energy from the magnets , no lenz drag, radiant charging ....

                                Hi Alain,

OK, now I may have got it how you meant. The black strip is supposed to make a 'figure of eight' flux distribution around the face of a magnet from a given pole, hence the induction can happen twice. Is this so how you also thought?
It needs some tinkering with the right materials and their correct shape to get the best results possible in a given setup.

                                Thanks, Gyula
