What do I need to know to build a good lead acid battery?

Thats a good read howie very usefull info in there while I do agree with Seamonkey it is probably better to reuse old batteries still able to be recovered, better for the environment and safer and easier, it is nice to have the info to be able to make them if we ever need or want to.
