Hi folks, Hi joit, thanks for the tips, I'll probably try different things for switching and your ideas will be one of them.
Here is a pic of the motor so far, it is only the bottom half coil and I just need to assemble the structure around it, which I already have built from previous project and make a switching setup.
I tried it as is just to see what kind of torque it might have and at 36 volts, it is very powerful, very hard to stop it from wanting to crank around.
It is 24 awg magnet wire and around 18.6 ohms for the bottom half coil, which is almost a pound/lb. Let me know what you folks think.
