How to show images in your posts:

I am aware that many forum participants don't quite understand how to place images in their posts, and this is especially true with newcomers. This can be done using the paper clip icon on the thread posting message toolbar, but that method uploads the chosen file to your user storage space at Energetic Forum, which is rather limited. The preferred method is to use the yellow "Insert Image" icon on the message toolbar to insert a full size image in your post. To do this, you must first upload a copy of your image file to an Internet file sharing site. There are many excellent free services available for this purpose. In the link which follows, you will find complete instructions for both uploading files to an online file storage and sharing website, and placing those images in your posts. I use Windows Live Sky Drive for my file uploads, and the instructions use Sky Drive for the examples, but are applicable to whatever service you decide to use. Thanks for posting that.

Even as a moderator, I don't even upload attachments. I upload the pics into a folder elsewhere and post them with the url.

Photobucket is another great place that quite a few users here use to host their pics.

Photobucket also allows video uploads with a max 5 minutes, 100 MB limit.

I never looked around Photobucket until just now. There are other limits.
