  • Excellent Replications

    Well all I can say is excellent..........

    Now we need to obtain some data so we can make use of this little device.

    The 120V AC bulb test, did anybody get shocked or feel any sensation when making this test? Now can any of you make a temperature measurement? You must be sure not to hold the bulb in such a way that body heat will impact the readings. With the dimmer test comparison a measurement of the temp of the bulb then from the ball should be done. A degree accuracy would be nice.

    Now the SGate, how might we measure this little device? Light output is one??

    Thanks all of you for the hard work and results....

    • DrStiffler,
      I will play some more with closed loop gate.
      But what still bothering me is to run 2 gates at the same time. What if to use bipolar gates? One configure in (+) and other in (-). It just I'm not sure on how to synchronies excitation of transistors.

        @mlurye

        This is not a problem so long as you are not connecting them together by hard connection. What you should see is one or both of the units will show a greater CEC than if just one was present. What you are doing is shaking up the lattice with two exciters rather than one. When you look at the energy balance it will show each could have a gain, but this is only because of the same picture I presented a few posts back about the wave action on a body of water. Two exciter hitting the lattice should and are a big stimulator for cohered return.

          I am not sure but the first time I tried I was holding the tip of the wire instead of the bulb's body and it felt rather "hot" or "prickly".

          I can't really describe the feeling and as I did not pay much attention to it at the time, I moved on to get the rest of replication done.

          Maybe it was just me, who knows. We really can't rely on subjective observations as they greatly differ from person to person.

            @ Lidmotor,
            Thanks for your great videos. Can I ask you one question ?

            You can light LEDs on your mobile wireless breadboard, around the SEC, but if you put a supercapacitor in place of the LEDs, will it charge ?

            Thanks and congratulations again

After a making more coils it finally lit up, and felt much stronger than the sec 15-3 board.

              Another interesting thing. If you position the sphere over a couple 40w fl's and place the aluminum block about 4-5 inches above it connected to earth ground, you get some pretty dam good brightness..input ~1.8w (18v - 0.10a)

              WOW...Freezer

              Very nice video.

              I noticed your not even using a ferrite core.
              But it looks like you have it tuned very well.

                One big thing I saw and it is of major importance. The incandescent bulb, it is using more energy on the Al plate than the ball itself

                This is great as you also now have a board that allows you to change and work in different ways. Yes you new board should be better than the 15-3. The chokes on the 15-3 are not near as good as the air cores.

                    Yes Doc. just finished watching it.
                    The SEC makes some weird sounds lol.

                    I'll have to try this setup later today.

                    Very Nice video 5 stars

                      Yes, I was surprised by that.

                      The video you put up is viewable to me. CEC=4.8

                      Youtube has always been buggy for me, but I don't understand why you couldn't access it.
                      I can see it when logged into my account and see others have viewed, but a straight search on any of the keys, gives me nothing?

                        @Freezer & @All

                        Well here are the numbers so you can check for yourselves.

                        The numbers from a similar test are 28 SW LED's, each has an average drop of 2.65 volts so 28 * 2.65 = 74.2 volts at the output of the AV Plug (it actually measures close to 76 so lets use 76.

                        The current (in the series LED string measures 32.8mA, Ill call it 33mA.

                        Pout = (0.033 * 76) + 1/2( 0.65 * 0.033) = 2.519W

                        the 1/2(0.65 * 0.033) is the drop across one AV diode.

                        Pin is 0.026 * 18 = 0.468W

                        CEC = 2.519/0.468 = 5.382

                        Lets allow for a +/-20% error in reading Pout so (2.519 - (2.519 * .2)) / 0.468 = 4.306

                        I'm very comfortable with this number.

                        • You Tube or Sun Spots?

                          Hey folks I just checked three times and all of my videos were missing from the YT index (I could not search for any). Tried again and half came back, now I think all are there.

                          If you have room copy and store them.............

                          These sun spots and dark energy has strange effect.

                          **Update (edit)

                          Can a few of you search YT for 'dr stiffler' and see if my video's pop up when ordered by 'Date Added', talk about flaky this is wild.........

                            • I thought I would try the popcorn ball experiment today.
                              This is running off a 12 volt battery.
                              I had to make L2 smaller for this to work.

                              I did try the incandescent light but it was so dim I didn't show it in the video.
                              But I was able to light a 4w a 6w and a big 40w FL off it.

                              Here is a video of it.
