Thanks for sharing the info. It makes me wonder why they install it like wind generator with fans, if it can generate energy without wind, then the whole fan construction wouldn´t be needed. maybe he did that, so he can get it past the censors hehe, kind of like a little patent office deception, who knows
I searched The US Patent Office for both issued patents and patent applications for Jim or James Boswell in Fresno, and found nothing. The Peswiki article said the Chinese were helping Jim obtain a patent, so you would expect that he would apply for both US and International patent rights. I also searched the International Patent Office (WIPO) and found nothing there. Anyone else have better luck?
It really is unfortunate that Jim hasn't posted any useful information about the device. Once his methods are plastered all over the Internet he will have very little to fear any more.
I don't see why he has had to go to China to find support for his ideas. He claims that attempts to promote the idea in the US fell on deaf ears, but that would only be true if he spoke to the wrong people. Of course the power conglomerates, motor/generator companies, and the auto manufacturers wanted nothing to do with it, but interest and support would have easily been generated if he had promoted his idea in renewable energy Internet forums. If his device works, he could probably increase his wealth dramatically just by offering to sell plans for $20, or sell $200 plans and basic parts kits for DIY replicators. This could only serve to provide the independent verification and documentation of results which is currently lacking. If multiple replications provided verification of the claims, then who wouldn't pay $200 or more for a kit with plans and parts?
The cost of the fully assembled 3 kw device seems overly high - around $16,000 delivered and installed. With that price tag, it is doubtful that use of the device will ever become widespread. According to the Peswiki article, Boswell claims that it should pay for itself in a year or two. That seems quite unlikely, since it would take me around 16 years to break even with my average monthly electric cost of about $80.
I hope that Jim does come forward and show his ideas, but I won't be holding my breath while waiting for that to happen. So many times in the past, inventors with great and useful ideas have chosen to either cloak their invention in secrecy, sell out to opposing interests, cave in to bully tactics, and/or retreat into obscurity. Attempting to patent such a device, and to hog the manufacturing rights, can only serve to delay or defeat any significant distribution of it, and to generate a hornet's nest of formidable opposition from those whose interest is in suppressing the device.
Best regards,
Rick

Yours to use brother, just buy the parts. A supplier link is on the page.
That's a wonderful idea making a combination windmill~whatever and get Federal bucks, if not a bit on the deceptive side. However, if a windmill was part of my Gravity Wheel and added to the size GENERATOR it could turn... would you be cheating anybody? Not hardly. They would be paying for one system and gettiing two. It might need a slip transmission for when the wind goes to getting faster than the Wheel is all.
I learn something new from you guys all the time. This web forum is fantastic.
It's a shame more free energy inventors don't put out more wolves in sheep's clothing. It'd be great to see a device like a cellphone running forever, with a plug to recharge it that leads to nothing, and a charger that can't charge anything. Especially if it were to get into the hands of moders, like the people at hack-a-day. That would make a few believers, especially after hearing how confused they'd be.
I will answer your challenge Dingus, even if I have ta suffer through yet another charge of being accused of taking over someone else's thread. All anyone needs to do is put a pedal under their shoes that spins a small generator EVERY STEP THEY TAKE.
You can have your cellphone running forever if ya want it. I would have done it already myself but I had to drop out of my electronics course due to being colorblind (couldn't read resistor & transistor faded color bands).
Sshhh, it's another one of those Gravity engines and we know they don't work.
I find this kind of information interesting and fusterating at the same time. Very hard to validate and i can't find much more info online than what is in that article. I couldn't find any patent info US or international either Rick.
However, i really felt a instinctive sort of "gut" feeling about the technology represented here, not sure why. Sometimes a concept is all inspiration needs to bloom.
I thought i would post a question, in lew of better information on the design of this windless windmill. I've seen real prototype models rendered in 3d documentary style of Nasa's ionic wind propulsion sails that are being proposed to drive deep space probes or even shuttles. What i'm wondering is if it might be possible that Jim with the b800 or b1500 might have found a way to harness a ionic wind that flows invisibly? I also realize that there are sails being designed for deep space travel that rely on converting photons from the sun into kenetic propulsion in a similar way. Could jim have found a way to harness ions or photons in a new way here? Sure wish there was more info.
I am going to start to experiment with ionic levitators or lifters and maybe will learn something to gain some insight.
