Though this topic would seem more appropritate for the psychic forum i am posting it here as I am interested in the phenomon of it and would like to discuss it.
For those who havnt heard of the pk wheel i will give a brief intro. Put simply it is just a very light weight wheel balanced on top of a fine point so as to present the least friction. The goal is to rotate the wheel using your mind. For most it is relativly easy. Some have to put there hand close to it others can sit on the other side of the room while others can rotate many wheels at once.
I have been trying for a while off and on to get the wheel to rotate when covered in this case by a plastic container with little success. I would have the odd ocasion of success but it was short lived and very minor. Last night i noticed that the wheel was actually moving while covered by it was vibrational. It would not rotate as such but just sit there moving back and forth a little bit. My first attempt at solving the balance was to simply place one hand on one side of the square container and see if any effect and there was none. My second attempt was to move the container such that the wheel was instead of being in the center was now either on the left or right side. This did work the wheel would rotate and as long as you were positive and followed its rotation it would continue to do so. If you were negative it would stop. What was interesting about this was that there was a recoil. Unlike when uncovered if negative the wheel would just stop the wheel now recoils in the opposite direction. As well there is a limit to the amount of rotation the wheel can carry when moved to one side. It will reach that limit of rotation and like a wound up spring rotate in the opposite direction. It wouldnt return all the energy but does return some it seems.
Another very interesting aspect is that when the wheel is placed on the left hand side of the container it rotates clockwise and when on the right hand side it rotates anti clockwise. If the wheel is on the left side and having reached its total rotation capacity you simply move the container so that the wheel is on the right hand side of the container.
The effect appears to be due to a polarization which causes a seperation of the normally joined counter clockwise and clockwise components of aether which are one when the wheel is uncovered.
I think thats it. I was playing with this all last night and then put it away and could not reproduce the effect that night. Today i feel well disjointed to say the least, spacy and tired. I dont know if it has anything to do with it but worth a note.
For the sake of completeness I include a few stats which may have an effect on the results. I am male, right handed and live in australia. Whether or not any of this data effected which way around the polarization occured i dont know.
