My first successful attempt at the production of "alternative energy" was helped by a complete set of technical info and construction plans freely available on the internet. As I progressed in the study and began plotting and planning to acquire the parts necessary to construct the device, I found someone willing to sell a finely crafted in welded stainless turn key device for a little less than I could by the parts for. I joyfully ponied up the less than $500 the small company/manufacturer in Texas was asking for it and a few days later...I wasn't just thinking about it, I was doing it. Now that's good business.

I'm not sure if your post above got missed in all the other hoopla going on in the thread but I'd sure be interested in hearing a bit more about what you mention above if it's not the heat pump Aaron mentioned for water heaters (which is very intersting too but not free energy).

Bumping this old thread as I just came across the Witts vid. What I do find fascinating about it is that once started he then puts some of the energy from the gen back into the motor to keep it turning rather than relying on magnets alone to keep it spinning. It seems that with some mag motor generators that have been seen (at least in vids and demo's ) that are self running with no other power that it would be even more conceivable to run one that puts some of it's output back into a motor to keep it turning. At least in my fuzzy thinking that sounds like an easier way to keep one going under load

I believe I would have to agree with your assessment, Peter. With WITTS, it's all about money. I see that people have brought up the $20 "donation" scam, but let's not forget the $100 expected "donation" if you would like to call them on the telephone. And that's nothing compared to the latest Trolling For Dollars ploy. According to the February WITTS newsletter, there's a new "Vacation Tour" scheme that they are now attempting to foist upon unwitting believers:

Wow, sounds great, huh? Why don't we all buy our tickets and charter a flight? Just kidding, of course!

Their "full disclosure" could simply be to show a solar cell in operation, which of course would fulfill their promise while providing nothing of value. Any promises from WITTS deserves a very healthy dose of skepticism. If they really had any of what they claim, and were really interested in service to mankind, then why not open source their least overunity device to prove their sincerity? That hasn't happened, and I don't believe it will.

If I had to offer an easy legal way to assemble from off the shelf components a water heater powered by free nuclear fusion I'd say build a heliostat or ten and direct it at an evacuated tube solar collector.

Aacckk! Sorry about that - I tried to edit to add the info in the second paragraph but the edit was lost. I then found out from Aaron this sometimes happens unless you 'use advanced mode edit' and I guess something or maybe my error - still didn't quite get it right. I read a number of comments (not sure if this thread or not) complaining that people had to pay to see Thrapps videos. I know I'm coming into the 'middle' of this .. but his site now has a whole bunch up and running, at least as of yesterday.

Having watched several engineers give personal testimonials on his projects, I'm much more persuaded by their testimonies than the many on here who've never visited, spoke with, or investigated - i mean personally investigated - what he claims. I truly do not understand all the negativity by people that JUST DONT KNOW.

I have particular interest in Thrapps efficient water heater and would love to have an opportunity to personally investigate the unit. Any suggestions on how to arrange a visit would be greatly appreciated. I know there are some here who have already spoken or visited with Thrapp.
