If there is one person I would suggest to anyone when looking into how things really are it would be George Carlin.
He had spent better part of his life talking about things that everyone knows (deep inside even) but nobody speaks of due to whatever socio-political and cultural barriers.
Most people just don't want to admit it and would rather not listen to what he had to say, than God forbid change their belief system accordingly.

LOL, funny man. But I still think human destroy the planet more than helping it, at least from our survival perpective. It's our jobs to prevent it to happen in our place.
