I have been looking at different possibilities of being able to use perminent magnets as a form of free energy and as so I have been conducting experiments on this subject. There have been many claims in all areas on blocking magnetic fields, you tube is full of it, but there is one thing that, CAN NOT BE DONE, at the moment, and that is to block a magnetic field.
What can be done is to manipulate those fields so as they can be used.
I have had bit of experience with this. Since I started my little Magtrack project a while back I have been playing with configurations that don't block feild, but alter the path of the flux.
I'll start at the begining though incase people aren't familier with what I have done. I built this after looking at Howard Johnsons work.

The track in I showed in the first movie has alot potential as is.
It has alot a fair amount of resistance when the drive magnets enter. This to me was a problem. At one time I had received an explanation that the force I used to put the Drive magnets in through the gate was being redelivered on the way out. This accounted for the speed and thrust.
I found that certian number of magnets would pull in the next magnet and it in turn would release its inertia.
So either way it was explained, Howard Johnsons way, or the engineering way this has the potential to do at least enough work to propel itself through the array.
Next (I didn't make a movie of this) I tried to fix the magnets to a belt and add 2 pulleys at each end and see what it would do.
The friction was killer. I did not develop enough force to rotate the pullys.
But I firmly believe that it was capable of working but my abilty to build it was flawed.
I have since been working on diverting the entry feild away from the dirve magnet. I have not been able to do this with a solid magnet, but CUT magnets are starting to show potential. As of yet I have only been able to lower the amount of resistance in the front, but not do away with altogether.
The key is in the above movie of the visualization. You can create an interaction between 2 magnets that allows them to feed flux from one set to the next.
You will see in the visualation the "Climbing Action" of the drive magnet. This is key to the interaction. I found several configurations that make this possible.
I will post them in another thread in this topic soon and describe the methods for stressing the magnetic feild into position. I gotta come up with diagrams for it.
