    ok i was doing some thinking and came up with this.. the weights are slotted to allow for flip drop

    I'm interested

    If the diagonally moving weights kept swinging, but the vertical ones did not swing, the added centrifugal force MIGHT pull the weights over the flipping points..

    The cost of setting weights swinging, I have found, is usually more than the added centrifugal force from the swing;

    BUT, my design only has one swing per revolution.

    So yours is worth experimenting with.

    How are you going to build it? Weights on pendulums hung between two wires that travel around 6 pulley wheels, 2 each in parallel in the three places?

        You might not need the second flip

        The change of direction may keep the weights swinging. Hence you would need to suppress the swing on the vertical..

          I love the idea of the slidey thing inside the swingy thing, Looks like this would increase the power of the movement.
