Sorry for the slow response, I didn't notice this thread.
The pipe is pointed in the direction of rotation because the velocity of rotation is added to the velocity of the water exiting the tube. This greatly increases the kinetic energy of the water.
Ted
Being so closed to the fixed rim, the reaction force will not slow the rotation of the pipe, stop it, and reverse rotation?
Would be nice to have your opinion on the thread that I open on this subject, and Cherryman posted great graphics with his idea that my need your experience on the centrifugal pumping.
Thank you

Dead Zones
Hey Ted, good work.
Just created account to mention something Alanna also mentioned.
The 55 drum's cylindrical shape/flat bottom are not conducive to the flow, which would probably hinder resonance. Should be easy enough to fix. Cut down plough disc might help, though probably not curved enough.
Schauberger used to use an eggform as a 'jig' for his mechanical parts to reduce friction, and achieve negative-resistance flow.

Hope it's helpful. GL.Last edited by Darkanstormy; 08-11-2011, 06:59 PM.

Suggestions via Schauberger
Hi, I'm a hydrologist and big Schauberger fan. I saw your device and like the ingenuity. I have a couple of suggestions (via Schauberger) to take it to the next level.
- Flip it upside down, so that the water is drawn down with the assistance of gravity.
- Cool the water, ideally to 4 C.
These subtle changes will shift the energetics of your reaction to centripetal motion. The cooling temperature gradient and the densification of the fluid will drive the reaction at a high rate while creating a highly charged water byproduct. Then you find your resonance point. From there many things that can be done to increase the biological vaccum. Schauberger also found it important that the water contained adequate salts, minerals, and carbones. Then there are the rebounding heart fractal nozzles, the whorl pipes, the silver plated copper.... man it'd be nice to own a machine shop.
Hope you're still at it and that this helps, I really like your idea and it seems like you are on the right track. You don't need a machine shop to build yours, just a hardware store. Let me know how it's coming,
Cheers

I would love to chime in on this
I have been wanting to build this for about 6 years now, and I have a machine shop. If there is any tips on this build pls send me a message on the does and dont's.
Thank you
Gabriel
