question on wire size to batteries with multi coil

this is a ssg motor
I'll be adding 3 power coils at a time ( a total of 11 when finished) I was wondering about the size of wire going to the batteries, I am using jumper wires right now.
Should I start upgrading my wires to heaver wire and if so what would be fair size wire to use?

Depends on how much current you are going to generate. Heres an ampacity chart. If the wires get hot then its time for bigger wire. An amp meter will tell you what size you need.
