My problem is that my volt meter measures Dc amps and my circuit draws current at a frequency of about 18Khz. Is there a way I can get an accurate current reading with that meter?
I remember once seeing a schematic with a capacitor in parallel with the power supply, but I don't know if it's right.

If you have any other easy methods of measuring high frequency current without expensive equipment, it would be greatly appreciated.
