I just heard the weather forecast for this coming winter. It seems that we are entering into an El Nino weather pattern again this year. Scientist have been observing the ocean current patterns, and have evidence that suggests that we are in aN El Nino cycle pattern again. It was 10 years ago when El Nino brought the eastern US to its knees. We had a heavy snowfall which brought down powerlines. Most of the eastern seaboard was without power for weeks. I know most weather patterns run in cycles, usually of 7 years, but we have missed that cycle and could be headed for a 10 year cycle this year. Be prepared. Good Luck. Stealth

Here is the latest SST Anomaly map:
It does show some warming near the equator, west of South America, typical of a developing El Nino.
