Was just saying thanks for the links
Ps, anyone else trying to make an Electret? All the info is here
So far only bodkins (the king of cool and weird, and charmer of women) has successfully produced an Electret.
Fingers still crossed on mine - waiting till missus clears expenditure on proper rosin for future attempts, on account of my new scope..

Here goes again!
You could also google Bruce De Palma, he did a lot of work into homopolar generators
Looks like I can't upload the file! Try googling this file maybe a torrent file or emule file :- Harnessing the wheelwork of nature - Tesla's science of energy (2002).pdf
Valone - Harnessing the wheelwork of nature - Teslas science of energy 2002 pdf torrent - Fulldls.com
I'll be signing off for a while, too much research to catch up on and experiments to conduct.

Heads Up ...... If you want anything that is associated in any way with "Pirate Bay" better get it now especially if its copyrighted or has some reserve on it ( I personally do not condone copying restricted material ) ...... is "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" Download a Copy of The Pirate Bay Before It’s Gone

"Development of epoxy-based electrets" download

Development of epoxy-based electrets.
I believe this is it. RENAME the file people after you download it..
else you will probably misplace it, the filename is a generic filename.
Document link: http://www.springerlink.com/content/...p/fulltext.pdf
Source link: SpringerLink - Journal Article
I suggest naming it "Development of epoxy-based electrets.pdf"
Have fun

A thought about an epoxy electret
Natural silica and how small are the partials in size?
For example, they make special PV cells from silica obtained from rice hulls.
Rice hulls are 60% silica by weight.
Another source for silica is the plant horsetail.
Again the question is how small are the silica partials, the smaller the better.
The rice hulls or horsetail are burned and the ash is used.
What about micro quartz and/or silica powder?
You got me stumped on how you would get a really good mix
of the powder and the epoxy before hardening.
is this dog barking up an empty tree?
just thinking

Mixing the lithium salts into the epoxy
In the document it says that they dissolved the lithium salt into the hardener before adding it to the epoxy; I suppose that we'll have to pull apart some lithium batteries and see if we can get some of the salt to alter the color of the hardener of various glues..
Nice to have your mind turning this over randyAtoms move for free. It's all about resonance and phase. Make the circuit open and build a generator.

Silica
A source of Silica would be those little satchels they use to absorb moisture in new packaged things..
It's labeled Silica gel, so maybe it would sit in solution without too much settling.
Otherwise, do they make a Silica based epoxy glue?Atoms move for free. It's all about resonance and phase. Make the circuit open and build a generator.

Those "little satchels" absorb moisture, but I don't understand the why it does so
or what compound. It can't be just silica, is it?
A coffee bean grinder could be used to turn the gel into powder.
A coffee grinder does a nice job of turning table salt into powder
just for reference.Last edited by Vortex; 08-22-2009, 07:58 AM.Remember to be kind to your mind ...

To others on the Primary Physics, have cracked the nut I think, and will be making my first prototype soon. I had it wrong about the electrets and sublimate. Clear as Mud now!
