Yes, Flat wire may "conduct" the "RF" better. - I would say the Longitudinal displacment current may delivered better along a flat conductor or one with a large surface area.
Eric Dollard states in a "you-tube" video that "Everything has to be done with sheet copper". "Any effective a conductor for "RF" current has to be a third wide as it is long". "Otherwise you may as well use a resistor in the circuit". (He is speaking of his connection to ground & he has 24 copper ground rods into a salted marsh though). - For transmission of longitudinal waves into the ground. However this supports the idea of a using large copper bus on the Bedini circuits and anything where Longitudinal waves or Radiant energy is to be conducted.
Tesla said in his court case that "his radio was non-electromagnetic". - He said repeatedly but it all fell on deaf ears.
"Electrons have nothing to do with the flow of electricity. Electrons are the rate at which electricity is destroyed. Electrons are the resistance! The waveform of electron flow is the same waveform produced when you slam on the breaks and you hear that horrible screaching sound - its not a nice harmonic sine wave. So I believe that the parallel wound, series connected coil is the type of coil that should be used when tring to produce higher amounts of Radiant energy. The resonant frequencey is generally lower and the peak voltage generaly higher, with these coils. The use of german silver wire (in primary coils) to restrict electron flow may also be of assistance to produce more Radiant in a seconday coil?

If you look at the 'Laminax' link (under the Flat Magnet Wire link) at the Alpha-Core site you will find rolls of insulated copper strip which is what I think you are looking for. I purchased both their flat magnet wire and a few rolls of the insulated strip a year or so ago make bifilar coils with.
