  • Mythbusters take on Tesla's "earthquake" machine.

I don't watch this show but this catched my eye on youtube so I watched the videos. I don't want to spoil too much but it's worth a watch. It's not a complete failure like their other "replications".

It's kind of sad though. That all the resources and equipment are used for entertaining people.

A word about Bedini Pendulum (Tesla Earthquake devices?)

    broli

Yeah I like that Mythbuster chapter but look the device has only one problem CLOSE LOOP, Tesla Pendelum like Bedini replication is far better. Jamie & Adam, is using a stuff like pendulum but look frequency control is close loop, device moves the weight block on fixed frequency so if this device could change the frequency and wave lenght on phase with bridge waves oscillations results can be far better. I've seen this Mythbuster chapter many months ago and the results explain me exactly how works the Tesla device, appearently Tesla tested this device when worked in his lab in a building (high floors can created a some like a earthquake on the building??) and seems logic, look the newest skyscrapers, that buidlings use a block controlled by computers to detect the movement and the block move against the movements, this avoid that the movements can be perceived by the peoples on high floors and can avoid serius damages on earthquakes. WoW I can say Tesla has invented this too.

We can imagine the Bedini big pendulum attached on the bridge like his support and making oscillations with the coil each time the pendulum moves and bridge moves with him each times absorbing the gravity and inertia auto adjusting his frequency each time. This really can crash the bridge look the attach. The pendulum moves and moves the bridge too and obviously the pendulum is moving too respectively from his absolut state because is attached on the bridge, this changes the total freq and wave lenght of pendulum and recover some energy invested + next push (like explains Aaron 1 joule thread) each time more strong and pendulum consumes the same energy (Watts / seconds) from the movement start. It's incredible how we see the relation between this example and Bedini floating ground battery on SG circuit and floating pendulum movement.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

I just watched my first episode of Mythbusters last night.

I was exited because Obama had asked them to more thoroughly examine the Archimedes solar death ray story.

Omg I was so upset that these people purport to be solving issues when they are so very removed from the most basic and important fundamentals of scientific principal.

I guess they did ok in the above clips (I haven't watched them) but wow I'm still trying to process how wrong it is that these guys claim to be thoroughly examining their subject matter to determine a result.

It would be fine if they were just like hey we're special effect guys trying to see if we can recreate stuff in real life.

But to put it as if they have examined all aspects of an issue and come up with a scientific answer is asinine!

I was pleased when i saw that episode. It was good to see that they got some results.

I didnt care for the lack of respect they had when they were unable to get the pneumatic version to work and therefor concluded Teslas device was inferior just because they lacked the skill to build the device properly.

Also the linear electric motor they chose to use was a poor choice in my opinion. Tesla was all about capacitive discharges, or with air that would be equivalent to a compressed air discharge, like in a jack hammer. So i think the proper way to do it electrically would be with a tunable capacitive discharge oscillating circuit. Something like a modified rail gun type circuit or similar would work for an electrical version of the device i believe.

"Mythbusters" are a bunch of gatekeepers. When it comes to anything important they are outright frauds. Look at what they did to Bedini. They could have gotten him on the show to do it but they decided to "bust" his research.

Then when it comes to key issues like rfids, they admit they are controlled.

          "Mythbusters"..... BUSTED.

Omg. I give him high props at least for telling the truth behind it in public!

I just found this MIT recreation of the Archimedes solar ray which is pretty cool to skim through:

Man this guys are too stupid, they took 3 devices to make a small resonation of that bar.. .

a simple transformer would do it,

They read the patent and didn't understood that the coupling was the most important part not only the vibration device per se. Fantastically they achieved with their device the vibration of the bridge...

Thanks For Bringing this videos here.

I totally agree. they are very obviously supporting the establishment.
They wouldn't dare present any thing that contradicted the the corporations
                view of the world.
there is no way in the world they would ever present any machine that threaten the energy systems of the world.
I would go as far to say they are brought and paid for to do just what it is they do. what really gets up my nose about the Myth-busters is there self righteous attitude. that they are right all the time.
look at all the resources they have Who pays for all of that equipment?
Somebody should do a documentary on them called busting the myth-busters.
