i like that idea of winding very much, one could wind two wires at the same time ( joined speaker cable for example? ) starting at the top of the pillars and going around in the pattern of the petroglyph and working down the pillars each time a "circuit" is completed....interesting
hmm...thinking about it....if you wound a coil like that and made the pillars long enough....then.....assuming the pillars were flexible enough, if you took the one end of the pillars and bent it around in order to meet the other end of the pillars, you would have a "toroid" with windings on it in the shape of the petroglyph...would this be the same as the "standard" rodin coil....or different.....hard to visualise in the mind alone.
