  • Need verification help

    Hello everyone,

Since I'm away from my lab(garage) right now for a long period of time, I'd like to ask for your help to verify something.

If I have 1 magnet stick to a wheel. I rotate that wheel at high speed and place a coil in a bedini coil position. What is the wavefrom of the coil accross the terminals?

Is it a pulse DC or AC. Can someone verify this for me please? Thanks alot.

EDIT: Correction, I'm interested in the wave form of 1 fast swipe.
2nd EDIT : Really really fast swipe

Surely, it'll be neither. It will be a hump followed by a space of
zero voltage followed by another hump

Thank you so much gyula. It really means alot to get it from a strong source. Now my hyothesis can have a big YES.

Thank you wrtner. Your answer is correct, it's neither. The answer to my question come out to be it's an AC waveform. However, I did not specify voltage or current waveform. For voltage, it's AC. For currrent it's a pulse DC. Seems like my synchronous magnet generator idea is not original, but I have an even better design base on the waveform data.
