Hello again!
I remember reading on this forum about magnets and someone posted a link to an external site explaining the exact difference in magnetic poles, such as the N pole could pull up more iron filings then a S pole could but a S pole could push up more iron filings then a N pole could... I cant remember exactly and might have this backwards.
So this is just a respectful request if someone happens to have a few good links on this topic, here would be the place to put them.
Or I might have this backwards. If I lived near a machine shop with iron filings I would have figured this out already, but alas...
I tried google and all sorts of online answer sites and everyone seems to talk in a condescending manner saying they know everything and there is no difference so stop asking... So I decided to go to the one place I can trust on the net for the facts.
Also I have noticed there is no dedicated forum topic on this so I decided to start one, for the benefit of future reference.
Thanks!
