The Republican presidential candidate is due to arrive in Israel today (Saturday) for the second leg of his overseas tour and will pledge in a speech tomorrow to use crippling sanctions, or force if required, to stop Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon.

He describes a nuclear-armed Iran as "the greatest threat to the world", and has struck a more bellicose tone than President Barack Obama, telling Tehran, "If you want peace, prepare for war."

Romney emphasised his English heritage in an interview with CNN after his gaffe-filled day, declaring himself "a guy from Great Britain" who is "married to a girl from Wales". His great-great-great-grandfather, a carpenter from Preston, was one of the first Mormons in Britain some 175 years ago.

Attempt to derail Maine delegates to RNC is underway

An attempt to have the Maine delegates to the Republican National Convention declared void of authority to cast their votes has been initiated by Jan Staples, the Maine Republican National Committeewoman who was defeated for re-election at the 2012 Maine Republican Convention. Staples (along with Peter Cianchette, Chairman of the Maine Mitt Romney Campaign), is now spearheading an effort to unseat the National Delegates. Figures, huh? These sore losers want to ensure, of course, that all delegates representing Maine will vote for Mitt Romney at the national convention.

I tell you - if the effort by Staples and Cianchette is successful then there will be a lot of angry people up here in Maine. The 40 delegates and alternates have already booked their flights and hotel rooms in preparation for the convention, and you can bet they will show up no matter what the RNC decides concerning the letter of contest filed by Staples, which can be seen here.

The Maine delegates and alternates were properly elected, and remain firm in their commitment to go to the RNC in Tampa this August and cast their votes. A statement from the delegates said:

"Despite efforts to divide us, we remain united.
Despite attempts to attack us, we remain strong.
We will represent Maine.
We will march to Tampa.
We will vote for Ron Paul."

What the media hasn't done, though, is to show scenes like the one below, which occurred as Mitt passed through Gdansk, Poland. Crowds of Polish Ron Paul supporters turned out and held up a large banner promoting Ron Paul as their best choice for US President.

Oh I’m sure that was just an over-site by the media as they would never conceal the truth from us, would they?

However speaking of concealing the truth I just finished watching the following video. It is sort of an uncensored version of our history. It contains information that we are not suppose to be concerned about, much less even know about.

On August 1 the Swiss celebrate the formation of the old Confederacy. Many will attend reenactments of the Rütli Schwür as well as the battle of Morgarten. There will also be malitia shooting compititions throughout the country. When I studied in Europe many years ago there was a reenactment of the closing of the Kreuzlingen crossing during WWII as an actor who portrayed Henri Guisan watched. It was most thrilling and real, one got the impression that you were actually there in time. (It was made even more profound in knowing that we were all nervous about the Soviets storming through Germany at that same time after the Pershing II were installed) On this day there will be images of Wilhem Tell throughout every Kanton. There also will be pinics and fireworks as well as parades. The entire country is on vacation like on the fourth of July but with one exception...The Swiss actually appreciate thier freedom!
As an American I see that we as a nation take our freedom for granted and are so willinng to give it away as a price for safety. We as Americans are willing to surrender our liberties for security. We as Americans are willing to give up the principles of our Constitution in the name of public welfare. I am truly sad for America because I fear that if we stay on this present course we may very well see the end of this once great nation.
We as Americans have allowed the marxists and socialists to dismantle our country and only a loud minority has spoken out. If we allow Obama and his marxist komrads to stay in the white house another four years America will cease to exist and we will be the last generation to know what it was like to live in American freedom. We must defeat Komrad Obam at all costs.

On this day of celebration in Switzerland Americans owe it to themselves and to those who paid the ultimate price to reflect on what freedom really means.

Most of you have probably already seen images of the damage done to United flight 1475 yesterday while descending to land at Denver International Airport. The extensive damage to the nose of the aircraft was caused by a bird. In the photo below, taken by a Denver TV7 news photographer, you can see that the sheet metal used in aircraft nose cones is very thin and fragile.



If a collision with a bird can cause this much damage, just think what a collision with reinforced concrete would do to this nose cone. Then ask yourself how a plane could possibly have crashed into the side of World trade Center tower #2 and emerged at the opposite side of the building with its nose intact.



Or, for the ultimate in absurdity, ask yourself how a plane could have struck the Pentagon's outer west wall (5 feet of steel reinforced concrete) and passed through three heavily fortified inner walls (another 6 feet of concrete and brick) before creating a "nose-punched hole" through a final wall.



Finally, ask yourself if the official explanations made any sense at all:
