The MAIN way that the law 'fell apart' was in WORKPLACE enforcement; THAT is the INCENTIVE for illegal immigration.
Barry and his administration have made it clear that they don't want any kind of enforcement rules tied to immigration "reform." Of course that's why the 10 ICE agents sued administration officials in the first place. They were being told not to enforce the laws that already exist, and were threatened with reprisal if they did enforce those laws. You're right, in that illegal aliens only come here for the incentives offered to do so - incentives such as jobs, welfare, anchor babies, etc. The simple reformative cure-all for this problem is to take all those incentives away, deport all those who came here illegally, and not to offer any kind of amnesty. Those who came here illegally should be barred from ever becoming US citizens, rather than given a pathway to citizenship. They didn't care about obeying US laws when they came here illegally, so why would we think they would care now? Why should they be granted work permits when 20 million Americans are jobless? Why should they be allowed to stay a single day longer than they already have, while those legally seeking to gain work permits and/or immigrate here have to go through all the hurdles and wait their turn in line? It's all such a farce.

    • Feinstein's gun ban surprise

We keep hearing how Feinstein's proposed assault weapon ban would end up banning perhaps 150 or so gun models, particularly those semi-automatics which feature a magazine and a "pistol grip." What the media hasn't told us, though, is that page 13 of Feinstein's proposed legislation defines a "pistol grip" as "a grip, a thumb-hole stock, or any other characteristic that can function as a grip." So, in other words, any semi-automatic firearm, with anything on it you can grip, would be banned under Feinstein's gun ban legislation.

To add to this insulting assault on Second Amendment rights, Feinstein's gun ban would only affect law abiding citizens. Government bureaucrats and criminals (hmmm, is there really a difference?) would remain unaffected by this legislation. And as the effort to disarm law abiding citizens goes ahead full force, we see government agencies actually thinking that they need more armament for themselves. It's utter hypocrisy. Right now, for example, the DHS is requesting an extra 7,000 "personal defense weapons" - which Feinstein calls "assault weapons" if held by anyone outside of government - for their own officials. And that's not all. These weapons have clips that hold 30-rounds, three times the size of those that Feinstein wants to consider as the maximum allowable under law! Furthermore, these are "select-fire" weapons, which means they can either be used as semi-automatics or as fully automatic. Think about it - if all the "bad and scary" guns are removed from public hands, then isn't this supposed to make everyone safer? Isn't that what they claim this is all about? And if everyone would be safer, and therefore feel safer, then why would DHS need more personal defense than they already have? Shouldn't all laws which apply to the public also apply to those in government? Why the double standard?

And then the question facing our generation will be, can the Jewish people survive without an external enemy? Give me war, give me pogrom, give me disaster, and I know what to do; give me peace and tranquility, and I'm lost.

My idea of Judaism can be represented through a classic Talmudic dilemma: You are walking along by the river and there are two people drowning.
One is Rabbi [Meir] Kahane, and the other is the Dalai Lama.
You can only save one of them. For whom will you jump?
If you jump for Rabbi Kahane because genetically he's Jewish, you belong to a different camp than mine, because I would jump for the Dalai Lama.
As much as he's not genetically Jewish, he's my Jewish brother when it comes to my value system.
That's the difference between me and the Jewish establishment in Israel and America.

          Hi Rick, members and guests,

For those whom don't have a copy of Feinstein's proposed assault weapon ban here it is .....

          ‘‘Assault Weapons Ban of 2013’’

Mrs. FEINSTEIN (for herself, Mr. SCHUMER, Mr. DURBIN, Mr. WHITEHOUSE,
Mr. BLUMENTHAL, Mr. LEVIN, Mr. ROCKEFELLER, Ms. MIKULSKI, Mrs.
BOXER, Mr. REED, Mr. LAUTENBERG, Mr. MENENDEZ, Mr. CARDIN,
Mrs. GILLIBRAND, Mr. SCHATZ, Mr. MURPHY, and Ms. WARREN)

Here is a Summary of 2013 Feinstein Assault Weapons cited as the ‘‘Assault Weapons Ban of 2013’’
Summary of 2013 Feinstein Assault Weapons Legislation

Bans the sale, transfer, importation, or manufacturing of:
          o 120 specifically-named firearms
o Certain other semiautomatic rifles, handguns, shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine and have one military characteristic
o Semiautomatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept
          more than 10 rounds

Strengthens the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban and various state bans by:
          o Moving from a 2-characteristic test to a 1-characteristic test
o Eliminating the easy-to-remove bayonet mounts and flash suppressors from the characteristics test
o Banning firearms with “thumbhole stocks” and “bullet buttons” to address attempts to “work around” prior bans

Bans large-capacity ammunition feeding devices capable of accepting more than 10 rounds. Protects legitimate hunters and the rights of existing gun owners by:
o Grandfathering weapons legally possessed on the date of enactment
o Exempting over 900 specifically-named weapons used for hunting or sporting purposes and
o Exempting antique, manually-operated, and permanently disabled weapons

Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include:
          o Background check of owner and any transferee;
          o Type and serial number of the firearm;
          o Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;
o Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law; and
o Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration
This is what I call a "GUN GRAB" and a total violation of our Constitutional rights under the "Second Amendment"

Notice the recent comments by Shumer, etc., that the NRA is using this issue to raise $, by causing 'unrealistic' fear in Gun owners, that 'we want to take away their guns'; in fact, its obvious that GC 'advocates' like Schumer, are using Sandy hook as a 'fund-raiser', by instilling FEAR in non-gun owners, in order to raise 'enough $ to counter-act the 'unbelievble amount of influence' of the NRA.

So, accuse your 'enemy' of that which you, yourself, are doing. Is it a deliberate 'tactic', or unconscious, or some of each? I don't know, (or care, really) but it certainly is common.
This technique is known as "projection". Hitler's Mein Kampf quote was a perfect example a few posts back. Statist, socialist and communists all use this. And I have heard it is a tactic taught in Saul Aulinksy's Rules For Radicals, which our president uses every day with his lies. He taught it in his communist, er, community, organizing too. How about the one where he is all of a sudden a gun user himself. So how could he want to limit American's gun rights, is the obvious message. Of course this will just assuage a large percentage of those who aren't "watching the other hand", those who don't understand the healthy tension between a govt and it's armed citizenry somewhat able to protect itself from a tyrannical government that it provides. And what will those who wish to enslave us completely do next, but move surreptitiously to finish the job. How about the executive order that said the government can move in and commandeer property by a block representative under direct authority of the president released around February last year, the same weekend the media attacked the Zimmerman Martin incident. That's called a distraction. And who is the father of all lies but who Saul Aulinsky dedicated his book to, Lucifer. Why do supposed atheist's admire God's antagonist so much?

The concept of projection is simple. Accuse your opponents of the very thing your are trying to do before they do. That makes it almost impossible for opponents to then try to expose the truth, because it sounds like your a kid in the playground going "No you did it", and everyone thinks "how silly". The press never gives his opponents a forum unless its limited and disadvantageous anyway. We are in big trouble.

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
RULE 10: "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition." It is the unceasing pressure that will result in the reaction of the opposition that is essential for the success of the campaign.
RULE 11: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
RULE 12: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
RULE 13: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions

                • Another case of double standards hypocrisy

The Reese family saga began back in August of 2011 when agents of Homeland Security Investigations, a new and growing federal police force, descended on the home and gun shop of Rick and Teri Reese and their two sons Ryin, 24, and Remington, 19. Assisted by forces from multiple agencies, HSI swept onto the Reese’s 85-acre homestead, outside Deming, New Mexico. Helicopters, armored vehicles, and dozens of police cars were used in the raid. This massive display of force was all for show, as HSI agents already knew that none of the Reese family members were on the property. The Reeses had been victims of a ruse by ATF agents, who had asked them to come to the ATF office in Las Cruces to discuss paperwork issues, where they were then arrested by the ATF agents. All items from the Reese's gun shop were packed up and hauled away by HSI, as well as Rick Reese's private gun collection from the house. The combined value of items confiscated was over 2 million dollars. The Reeses were charged with lying in relation to two recorded firearms purchases, and at trial a deputy sheriff testified that Teri Reese had admitted knowing that one weapon sold at the Reese gun shop had ended up in Mexico. Teri denied ever having made such a remark, but the prosecution convinced the jury that the Reeses were guilty, saying that the deputy sheriff would have had no reason to lie. The Reeses were convicted and sentenced. Teri and Remington were released after serving about 6 months, but Rick and Ryin are still in lockup. The Reeses asked for a new trial, saying that crucial evidence had been suppressed by the prosecution. A judge has granted a new trial, after learning that the deputy sheriff had been under investigation by federal authorities for corruption. The judge reasoned that if the defense had known about the ongoing corruption investigation of the deputy sheriff, they could have shown that he did have a motive to lie, and disclosure of this motive might have influenced the jury in the defense’s favor.

Two things about this story really reek. The first is the fact that the corruption investigation of the deputy sheriff had gone on for ten years. Why so long? Either the feds had enough evidence against the deputy to charge him early on, or they should have determined that further investigation was not warranted. As I see it, the only reason for dragging out the investigation that long was so that the feds could obtain favors from the deputy, such as giving supportive though false testimony in cases where the feds sought convictions based upon little or no real evidence. Cases like that of the Reese family.

The second thing which reeks of injustice is that even if the Reese family members had known that one of their sold guns had ended up in Mexico, why is that considered a crime when the very agencies which participated in the family's arrest, and the raid on their property, are themselves guilty of knowingly putting hundreds of guns into the hands of Mexican criminals through their "Operation Gunrunner," and "Fast and Furious" programs? How many of the people responsible for these unconscionable gun schemes, and their deadly consequences, have served a single day behind bars? The double standard is obvious and pathetic. What's even more pathetic is the fact that certain players in the Fast and Furious scandal are actually rewarded for their part in it. Take for example Barry's recent nomination of B. Todd Jones to be permanent head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Jones was in on planning the Fast and Furious operation, and is also resonsible for the failed ATF operation "Fearless Distributing," a Milwaukee sting operation in which the ATF set up a phony storefront targeting gun traffickers. A recent Milwaukee Journal Sentinel investigative report found what it called "a string of mistakes," which included a military-style machine gun that ended up on the streets, and a robbery of the ATF agency store that netted $35,000 in merchandise. Senator Grassley referenced the Sentinel report in a letter he wrote to Jones in opposition to the Jones nomination, saying, "We remain extremely concerned about your ability to manage ATF. If these reports are accurate, your ability to provide this leadership is in serious doubt." Serious doubt? I'd say that's a serious understatement of the absurdity of this nomination, which was part of Barry's 23 point gun control executive orders.

                  • Yet another case of double standard hypocrisy

Live by the gun - die by the gun

Ex-Navy Seal Chris Kyle is hailed by many Americans as a war hero with an outstanding record of 160 sniper kills. The irony is that he died at the hands of another man’s bullet who killed him along with another man. The additional irony (or should I say hypocrisy) shouldn’t be lost on the fact that the man that shot and killed Chris Kyle is regarded as a criminal murderer locked up in jail with a 3 million dollar bail.

The hypocrisy that should also be pointed out in this entire tragic story is that Chris Kyle is hailed as a hero for killing 160 people and yet the man who put an end to the life of such a serial killer is then deemed the real criminal.

I use the term serial killer to describe Chris Kyle as that is what he was in my definition. Try as many people will to sugar coat Chris Kyle as a war hero but the fact remains that he was nothing more than a cold blooded serial killer who rightfully met his own death by the same lethal means he himself used as judgment when carrying out his own self justified killings. If being hailed as one of the best snipers of recent times being killed by another shooters bullet isn’t the quintessential definition of Karma then I don’t know what is.

As a Christian nation struggling with gun control issues I am sure the hypocrisy is lost on many US citizens that murder is murder no matter how you slice it, rationalize or justify it. It’s much easier to simply say Chris Kyle was doing what was needed to protect the world to make it a safer place during a time of war in a theater of war so that others could live a safer and more comfortable life back at home yet I am sure the family members of those 160 people he murdered probably have a much different view.

All I can say is my personal spiritual belief is that at this very moment Chris Kyle is being savagely ravaged in the fires of hell for his actions on earth as a serial killer. I am sure all his medals of Commendation and other bestowed awards don’t add up to a hill of beans at this very moment and his name and legacy will be forgotten by the end of this week’s news cycle (and rightfully so). So why am I even commenting on this pathetic serial killer and his story? Well I guess there was just too much irony and hypocrisy dripping from this story not to add my observation.

May his family and loved ones feel the pain of the 160 humans he killed every time they try thinking of Chris Kyle even when trying to swallow the sugar coated lie that he was a war hero. God knows he was a serial killer and the argument of being a war hero holds no water with the highest authority but the blinded simply cannot see the truth.

These are my personal opinions and views and while many might disagree with them I have a right to have them and express them in a civil way as I feel I have done.

                    here is the story

Ex-Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle died pursuing his passion - U.S. News
Obamisim ; “descriptive term” ; = Something so blindingly full of hope and optimism to heal or fix any situation yet only resulting in a most catastrophic cluster f*ck of failure.

                    • What/why

This 'obsession' with 'pistol grips' on rifles? How does haveing a 'pistol grip' enable you till kill 'lots of people in a short period of time', whereas NOT having a 'pistol grip' doesn't?
The 'istol grip' came about as a result of 'ergonomics'; the study of how the body works, and designing things, (tools, furniture, etc) to take this knowledge into account.
One only has to look at the 'shot SEEN round the world', i.e. the picture of o'bummer shooting a rifle. His LEFT hand, (yeah, he's LEFT handed, ironic, but a LOT of Presidents have been) you can see how its 'gripping' the shotgun stock. Ergonomics tells us this isn't the BEST way, and for repetitive motion, can lead tothings like 'carpal tunnel'. Its BETTER to have the hand gripping something at 90 degrees to the forarm, like with a 'pistol grip', which is why MODERN rifle design, initially adopted by the military, encorporated 'pistol' grips.
Ahhhhh, its so rediculous! And yes, this definetly IS a big push, and I am beginning to believe a LOT of this is deliberate; Fast and Furious WAS intending to get lots of weapons into the drug cartels hands, sotheir would be a 'push' to control guns, media is definetly 'on board', etc.

In MANY areas, the 'liberals' feel they have the 'conservatives routed, and (either) they are trying to make as much progress in their agenda as they can (Make hay while the sun shines) OR they think they have/are cementing a permanent majority, and are simply going to Dominate from here on out.

Happened before, and USUALLY it works like a pendulum; the party dominating over-reaches, the 'public' responds, and things swing back the other way. IS it 'different' this time?,.....I guess time will tell.Jim

You make some valid points, 5150. Sure, Chris was a Navy Seal, and the Seals are largely into "black ops" that involve killing the "enemy." This is what he was trained to do, and Seals don't usually question their orders - they just carry them out. Snipers look at a person in the far off distance as merely a target, rather than as a human being, and that makes killing much more palatable than it would be in one-on-one close combat. That human has usually done nothing to personally attack, or threaten to attack, the sniper, and isn't even aware of the sniper's existence, so how can such killings be justifiably thought of as acts of heroism? Chris was really no different than a Mafia hitman, executing whomever he was told to, and earning his pay in this manner. Of course he probably wasn't paid nearly as much as a mafia hitman, but I'll bet that he liked his job just as much. It probably gives someone a huge power trip ego boost to know they have a license to kill, and that may very well be one of the major incentives as to why men like Chris end up on a black ops team.

                        • I have mentioned several instances where CNN's Soledad Obrien used her morning show, Starting Point, to promote the Ruling Class/liberal agenda, and to attack opposing viewpoints. She often ended up looking foolish, and with "egg on her face," after being taken down a notch or two by people she was interviewing, such as in this bit with John Sununu, who told her that she might as well put an Obama bumper sticker on her forehead.

As a news show, Starting Point sucked, because it wasn't really news reporting at all. It was always slanted, and directed towards Obamites. It's no wonder that her show was at the bottom of the heap in viewer numbers, and no surprise that CNN management decided last week to cancel Soledad's show. CNN Vice President Bart Federer said that Starting Point's audience was too small and happened to be predominately comprised of minorities. Chris Cuomo and Erin Burnett are said to be scheduled to replace Obrien as co-anchors on a new morning show aimed at capturing a much broader audience. If they'd really like to do that then the answer is quite simple - start reporting real news, fairly and unbiased. I doubt that will happen, though.

"Seek wisdom by keeping an open mind to alternative realities, questioning authority, and searching for truth. Only then, when you see or hear something that has 'the ring of truth' to it, will it be as if a veil has been lifted, and suddenly you will begin to hear and see far more clearly than ever before." - Rickoff

In their pursuit of killing the enemy I think what gets lost is that the American people as a whole along with these soldiers who are actually doing the killings end up losing their souls when they participate in these wars and killings.

History has taught us that it repeats itself yet the fact remains humans are often to stupid to prevent history from repeating itself or learning the lessons of the past.

I predict the USA will fall and one day it will be an embarrassment to proclaim you are or were an American. I get laughed at and ridiculed for this opinion but I am sure there were others who faced the same criticism when they told the Nazi Germans they too would one day fall and it would be an embarrassment to proclaim you were a Nazi.

As for the ego and pride of having a license to kill, yes I can see that but then again I see it everyday when I see most LEOs or anyone working in or around the Federal Government. Seems to be a mentality of feeling being above others and having power and authority over others that is what draws such types to those jobs and the military. Some call it the small d**k syndrome

                            • Re-post from the net and this article is all over

I am a soldier. I know what war looks like, what it sounds like, smells like, what it feels like in my soul. I stand today in the twilight of my nation’s grace, looking into the darkness of impending war.

My sleep is troubled, knowing what awaits, yet the ignorant and the ‘true believers’ sleep easily in their delusions, and I am saddened by it.

Daily, I see the Blackhawk and Apache helicopters flying over my city, the military vehicles which appear so frequently now on our roads, often with ‘guns up’ in violation of Posse Comitatus, and I know why they prepare, that it is not far off.

Nightly I hear the report of gunfire near my home, the noise angry men make as they prepare to boil over. These are not soldiers – they are but angry men. And though I share their well-justified anger, I am cautious with them, for they are not disciplined, and they know not the face of war, nor the burdens it imposes upon mind, body, and soul. Because of this, they are dangerous, and I am saddened by this – that dangerous men should roam the streets near my home, full of anger and the lust for vengeance.

All about me are the ceaseless murmurs of soulless politicians and media propagandists, who wear their agendas on their sleeves as a badge of superiority, and the boundless echoes of their contrived ‘message’ assaults me from all sides, even repeated from the mouths of dear friends, and I am saddened by it.

I bear witness to the fact that throughout my lifetime, the lifeblood of my republic has been drained away by greedy and self-serving men, from high to low, who contrive nought but deception against their neighbors and countrymen, and who fail to consider that their children and mine shall share the same fate, the same future, and I am
                              saddened by it.

But I am a soldier, and I know what must be done; and so I shall put away my sadness and I shall harness up the bitter steed of war, and gird myself up for the battle; and I shall ride out to meet the enemies of Liberty; not in rage, not for anger sake or the hope of vengeance; but because I swore an oath before God, to jealously guard our Republic and its Constitution against all enemies; Him I shall not disappoint, for He is my Hope and my Trust.

                              Therefore, as much as my soul laments against the harsh truth before me, I make this declaration to my enemies who press me into this battle, that none shall be able to afterwards say “I did not know, you did not warn me”;

I do not care why you took that job with the government, or why you continue to hold it. I only know that you have become Judas and sold yourself to an oppressive state - your government office buildings and vehicles are part of the battlefield, and as a soldier I shall act accordingly.

I do not care why, as a journalist, you choose to spin and corrupt the news, rather than report the plain truth and let the people judge for themselves. I only know that you have violated the public trust in the most vile and seditious manner, and thus your homes, offices, studios, vehicles, and any other place you may find yourself, are part of the battlefield, and as a soldier I shall act accordingly.

I do not care why you signed that union card. I only know that you pay dues to a communist organization which conducts treasonous works against my Republic daily – and so your union hall and your work-sites are part of the battlefield, and as a soldier I shall act accordingly.

I do not care that you only voted for the traitor because you are elderly/disabled or otherwise dependent upon government largess. Are you so ignorant and/or disinterested that you could not see through their propaganda, to the fact that your sustenance was assured either way?

What have you gained now that the public housing areas you live in, and the public facilities you depend on, are part of the battlefield? Though I am a soldier, I can afford you little protection, for you have placed yourselves on the battlefield.

I know that all of these places and all of these people are part of the battlefield, not just because I am a soldier, and have experienced a few battlefields in my day; but also because our President declares that even our own homes are on the battlefield,

whether we wish them to be or not, and I have no choice but to believe him; it’s not just that the NDAA passed – a battlefield is not defined by law; it’s the profound build-up of martial power and resources across my once-great nation which tells me a battle is being prepared here.

Over two billion rounds of ammunition procured by DHS and its sub-agencies in the past 18 months, plus machine guns in the tens of thousands, armored vehicles, combat aircraft, drones, and other implements of war being staged throughout our nation, our home – how do you explain that except as the preparation for battle?

I will fight not because I desire it, but because I cannot justify any other course of action – when the enemy attacks, you must fight – you must kill or you will die.

I smell you, my enemy; I can feel the ambush you have laid for me and my true countrymen, all about like a sticky spider’s web, yet we will not back down; and though you will kill some of us, you will not get us all before we have finished with you.

I stand here, ready, on the eve of battle, and I ask God why I have been brought to the threshold of this battlefield, about to be thrust in, when I thought my soldiering days were through; and I am reminded that there is by His decree, a Time to Kill, as well as a Time to Die (Lev. chap. 3)… who am I to question why?

                              • Saw something interesting

On the 'News' last night. Today the Senators from Oregon and Colorado are sponsoring legislation which would legalise marajuina, (sp?) at the federal level, and TAX it. Enforcement would therefore transfer from the DEA, to,....wait for it,...the BATF! (which would the become the BATMF. Theywould be 'responsible' for collecting the TAX on M.J. sales.

Perhaps to enable them to pay for all the ammunition they are going to need, for all the weapons they are buying, in order to enforce the gun laws being proposed? Iknow, if O'bummer needs more $, he just tells the treasury or FED to print more. Still, certainly a 'sop' to a significant portion of his BASE; get everyone 'stoned', they are less likely to notice their rights being taken away.

Mind you, as a 'libertarian' I'm not in FAVOR of 'Drug laws', but this stinks. Its been proposed before, many times; "instead of making these drugs illegal, just tax them". "Conservative Icon" Barry Goldwater supported it, for example. But THIS time, I think it MAY 'have legs'.
