Rick no offense but petitions do NOT work, they get ignored or fizzle away to the back burner and eventually forgotten. The people in power just laugh at the attempts "the People" make trying to get any answers or control over those in power.

I do not live under any illusion that petitioning government to address a grievance will result in resolving the cause of that grievance. The reason why I participate in petitions is because when I join with others to openly voice our opposition to tyranny we are at least putting the traitors on notice that we know what they have done, what they are up to, that we will continue to oppose them, and that we will never forget their actions or inactions. If we just quietly go along with whatever they do, without openly calling them out for it, then we are aiding and abetting them in their tyranny, and encouraging them to steal yet more of our remaining freedoms.

If any of you readers watched the Sebelius testimony before Congress yesterday, you may have seen her state that, "the website has never crashed. It is functional, but at a very slow speed and very low reliability, and has continued to function." At the same moment she uttered that lie, TV networks broadcasting the event, including CNN, showed a real-time split screen image of Sebelius, alongside a screen image taken from the Healthcare.gov website stating, "The system is down at the moment." Watch her big lie here.

Barry's big lies, concerning ObummerCare, were of course that, "If you've got health insurance, you like your doctor, you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan." Barry added that, "Nobody is talking about taking that away from you." The second statement was a half-truth, of course, in that no one in the White House, Barry's administration, or the Democrat party, was talking about it, other than to deny the accusation. Of course that was all hogwash. People who have signed onto an ObummerCare plan are finding out that they are losing their doctors, and it is mainly because these plans pay doctors about 1/3 what they previously charged for services. Thus a great many doctors have dropped patients, while other doctors have decided to close their practices. And millions of people who wanted to keep their private or employer healthcare plan are receiving cancellation notices. A lot of these cancellations are due to the fact that employers chose to cut work weeks to 29 hours to avoid the 30 hour mandate to pay for ObummerCare for their employees, thus hitting the employees with a double whammy - loss of their healthcare plan and a considerable cut in pay. More and more employers will be using this tactic in 2014, when the employer mandate kicks in, just so they can afford to stay in business. Those who had private insurance plans and are losing them to cancellations are now finding that the reason for this is because their current plans do not meet ObummerCare standards of coverage. For example, it previously made no sense that a single male, or an elderly woman or couple, would need coverage for maternity benefits, and were therefore considered by insurance companies to have a lower risk factor for payouts. Because of this factor, insurance companies could offer plans which made sense and suited the insured's needs, while at the same time reducing premiums. But under Obummercare, everyone must equally pay for such coverage. And the one factor which has increased premiums more than anything else is the mandate that insurers must cover pre-exisisting health conditions. Can you imagine how much the cost of automobile insurance would increase if insurance companies were forced to insure a vehicle that had already been "totaled" in a wreck? That may sound laughable, but it just may be the next thing to come along in pre-existing conditions if the socialists get their way. Before ObummerCare, for example, no insurance company would have agreed to insure a pack-a-day cigarette smoker diagnosed with lung cancer. But under ObummerCare that person must be accepted for coverage, and at the same premium rate as a robustly healthy non-smoker. That's insane, of course, and the only way an insurance company can comply with the mandate is to require all of their insured to pay drastically higher rates. Many of those who have lost their plan due to a cancellation are finding that an "acceptable" plan from their previous insurer, or another insurer, will cost 2 to 3 times what they previously paid, and this will put health insurance beyond the reach of millions of individuals and families.

The remaining factor which is greatly increasing the cost of healthcare plans is the fact that those who will now be eligible for ObummerCare plan subsidies, or free healthcare, will receive those benefits at the expense of hard working people who at least attempt to stay in good health in order to keep their jobs. Those who pay the full cost for their insurance will rarely seek physician care for illnesses because their co-pays have gone through the roof, while those who have subsidized or free healthcare will seek medical care for a multitude of real or imagined illnesses simply because to do so will cost them little or nothing. Everything about ObummerCare is ass-backwards of the way it should be.

Tonight at 9:30 Eastern time on the Fox News channel's Kelly File, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton will be appearing to present and discuss email exchanges between former Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Director of Exempt Organizations Lois Lerner (yes, the same woman who pleaded the 5th when questioned about her role) and enforcement attorneys at the Federal Election Commission (FEC) indicating that the IRS provided detailed, confidential information concerning the tax exempt application status and returns of conservative groups to the FEC in violation of federal law. Included with the email exchanges were IRS questionnaires to a conservative group that contained questions of a hostile nature.

A prime example of the unaffordable "Affordable Care Act"

Here is a copy of a news article from the October 2 edition of a Carteret County, North Carolina newspaper, describing one person's experience at signing up for an ObummerCare health insurance plan:



The "Silver Plan" mentioned is below the median cost level of the four plans offered (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum). As stated, the cost is about $7,000 per year and the out of pocket deductible, before insurance payments kick in, is twice that amount! Combined with high co-pays even after the deductible is met, this person could easily end up paying out half or more of their annual gross income. Makes you wonder who could possibly afford this, let alone the Gold or Platinum plan. And since this is totally unaffordable, this person chose to opt out with no insurance - the same situation they were in previously. The only difference is that previously they didn't pay anything to get no insurance, whereas now this person must pay a "fine" of $4,000 with the threat of a lien being placed on their home if they fail to pay up. I tell you, this is even worse than the "protection rackets" that mobsters employed against store owners in high crime cities like Chicago. This is actually an extortion racket designed to bleed dry what little remaining assets the American People have left.

A multitude of people who did have insurance have now been sent cancellation notices, and like the person in the story above are gritting their teeth when they find out what an ObummerCare approved plan is going to cost them. A website has been set up where people who have been canceled can post their cancellation notice for others to see, and is quite revealing. You can see it here.

Affordable health Care Act

This train wreck hasn’t even begun to unfold. When it does it’s going to be a disaster like nothing else ever seen in the history of any government screw up.

Ted Cruz will be 100% vindicated for his attempt at de-funding Obama care and some might predict that by election time next this go around the Republicans will be in a better standing. I wouldn’t go that far in predictions of a Republican take over because by that time the damage to the economy will have been so great I am sure there great Recession of 2008-09 will pale in comparison.

Government is so out of control and out of touch with the people it’s a wonder more people haven’t stood up to try to take back their country. This entire “fine” and liens on a person’s taxes or their home is terribly wrong but where it really crosses the line and hurts people is when their driver’s license is suspended which then affects that person’s ability to general income or to function in daily life.

As Rich said, this is nothing more than strong arm tactics designed to extort every last drop of revenue out of the slaves. Soon people will be required to give body organs to the greater good to pay their part for the benefit of living in society. The choice will be presented as if you refuse to donate one or two of your bodily organs it will result in you being forced to donate all of your bodily organs at one time, as in you will be put down.

Unintended consequences

ALWAYS happen, whenever a law is created. Its in the nature of laws, can't prevent it. We ARE seeing INTENDED consequences, for the most part, so far. At least I think so. The far left REALLY want a 'single payor' system, but couldn't get that thru Congress. So, they came up with this abortion of a 26,000 page law. IF not enough 'invincibles' sign up, and so the premiums for everyone go thru the roof, but in the process the whole health insurance thru work is pretty much ended, THEN they will say "Oh, well we can't go back to the way things were, so I guess the Gov't will have to go farther, and have a Nationalised single payor system. What 'they' mean by 'single payor' is the U.S. Gov't., but it will be all of us that will really pay and pay!

Make no mistake, ALL taxes are 'merely collecting money with menaces, i.e. EXTORTION. Interesting, tho; if you don't pay your income taxes, the IRS can and will 'freese' your bank accounts, and I suppose in some cases they MAY have gone after someones house for failing to pay, but never heard of them suspending your drivers licence, for failing to pay. But, apperently with O'bummercare, they can.

Anyway, with 26,000 p-ages, I wonder how many unforseen and unintended consequences there are, lurking in the future. Certainly busineses will do what they gota do, and that may well mean restricting emplyees hours, as a way to avoid the employer mandate. And, in some cases, restricting the company to less than 50 employees. Certainly, many Dr.'s will have to examine how they run their practice, as a business.

Its still not clear to me, what happens when someone who is 'exempt' from the law, comes into an emergency room, with some potentially life threatening condition, and has no insurance? I BELIEVE the law still says they have to treat, right? So, the hospitals are still going to be incurring expences from treating people who aren't going to pay, and will use that to justify their costs.
Yes, its a 'trainwreck', and we haven't yet begun to see the unintended consequences, we're still seeing the totally foreseeable consequences. Jim

Update on Rethink911.org billboard efforts

The previously mentioned effort by Rethink911.org to erect a large billboard across the street from the New York Times and Port Authority buildings in New York City was successful in the fund raising drive, and a 13 foot wide by 29 foot high billboard now faces these buildings and will remain there for at least the entire month of November.



This is quite an accomplishment, as The Port Authority was the owner of the World Trade Center (WTC) complex, and the New York Times is just one of many major news publications that never featured a story regarding the dubious circumstances of WTC building 7's demise, which in and of itself calls into question the entire "official" story concerning the 9/11 events.

There are 100,000 or more passers-by who will see the billboard each day, and in addition there will be at least 4 volunteers passing out leaflets to the public between 4:30 and 6:00pm every day, when the heaviest pedestrian traffic occurs. Yesterday there was a free pizza give away event held beneath the billboard at the corner of 40th St. and 8th Avenue. Free Rethink911 t-shirts were also handed out to anyone who committed to returning to the site at least 2 times during November to pass out leaflets. In addition, Rethink911.org also sent an open letter to the New York Times calling for them to write an editorial.

Polls have shown that 60 to 70 percent of New York City residents believe that the "official" government story about the 9/11 incidents, especially those that occurred in their city, were falsified. Because of media blackouts at showing anything other than the "official" story line lies, though, the number of NYC residents who are relatively well informed as to what really happened on 9/11 is quite small. The current effort centers around refocusing attention on the unanswered questions of 9/11 and educating the public as to the importance of these questions being addressed and answered. The Ruling Class, and their puppet mainstream media propaganda outlets, thought that 9/11 would fade away in our memories and that their efforts to paint everyone who questions their "official" story as being tin hat conspiracy theory kooks would win out, but this latest grassroots effort to expose the truth about 9/11 tells a far different story and is a slap in the face to the real 9/11 terrorists.

Be funny (and actually neat) if someone actually created a mirrored website for Obama Care but with clear wording and a web address that also clearly indicated it was not the real Obama care site.

Then basically have it where they could pick different options of not wanting to participate such as the different plans like the gold and silver plan.

Under the silver plan you opt not to participate only until every member of congress and the US Government have their current insurance removed and are then signed up for Obama care.

Gold plan would be that you will not participate in Obama care and you were against it from the start. That your voice was not heard and that you think its not the governments place to force people to participate in any such plan.

Obummer's HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius received a hilarious (and appropriate) gift from Tennessee State Senator Brian Kelsey during an ObummerCare promotion event in Tennessee. Kelsey handed Sebelius a copy of the book, "Websites for Dummies."

While at first glance the caption in the above photo of Barry with the elderly woman may seem absurdly humorous, it is actually very close to the truth about ObummerCare. Under the ObummerCare health plans, rates must rise for seniors, many of which only wanted, and could only afford, catastrophic insurance. Now that their former policies have been canceled, the elderly must purchase a new policy that meets ObummerCare standards, and this means paying for many non-catastrophic related services such as maternity and birth control benefits that will be of no use to the elderly. And since ObummerCare bureaucrats will decide who gets what services, those in their senior years will be turned down for expensive life enhancing or life extending surgeries, and instead will be counseled on end-of-life-stage awareness. And that is no joke - it is part of the ObummerCare "law."
